βDear Hoodoo Crew, What can I say? Absolute first class customer service throughout the whole process from inception to aftercare. My last tattoo was around 35 years ago when I was 19 or 20. Havenβt times changed? My Mother recently died and I wanted a lasting memory of her. (She and I both loved the Red Kites soaring over Harrogate, I thought a tattoo of one would be a fitting tribute) My email inquiry was answered promptly the next morning by Andre, I explained I was only available on weekends due to work/family commitments then the whole process inc T&Cβs were explained. Andre told me it may be difficult due to the weekend situation and would be in touch once he was available. Having looked at his work on line as much as I could (being an old geezer who doesnβt like social media) I was extremely impressed and was happy to wait until he was free. That Saturday I received a message saying βhe was available for a session on Sunday (the next day) if I could make itβ If I didnβt do it then I may have talked myself out of it, so arranged the appointment and paid my deposit. We spent almost an hour sat at the computer (choosing an image then sizing and printing the image in various configurations and taping them to my leg to check that we were both happy with the end result) I am most certainly happy with the end result. Thank You Andre, you are a true artist! Thank you also for juggling your own family commitments to suit mine. Myself or any of my friends/colleagues have ever heard of/or been asked to return to the studio 2 days later for an inspection and cleaning/redressing of the tattoo. Customer service second to none!! My Red Kite looks a bit lonely on his own so I have some ideas I will run past you next year once we are healed. What an experience, keep it up all of you! Thanks and regards! Mickβ
βFantastic room, friendly staff, brilliant breakfast. We parked and walked into York. It was less than 0.9 mile walk. We will come back again.β
βReally delicious food, great value. Had a lovely big family meal, atmosphere was really nice. Everyone left very full and happy!β
βAfter a long time wanting my teeth straightened I plucked up the courage to do it. I had a more complex case with a crossbite and crowding. Each check up and visit I made welcome and impressed by the professionalism of all dentists, assistants and staff. Really pleased with the outcome, my teeth are much straighter and I feel much more confident.β
βCurrently having smilewhite treatment at Headrow Dental and after a bad experience with other dentist practices, I was referred to headrow dental and since then have had nothing but positive experience. They are regularly checking up on me and my dentist Dr Aman bharti keeps me at ease and is so professional and friendly. The other members of the team at headrow dental (especially Louise on reception) also make visits here a real pleasant experience, will be continuing to visit this dentist even when my treatment has finished :)β
βLove living at the Headline. There are very nice communal areas and also fun events they put on for the residents (coaster making workshop, macrame workshop, summer and xmas parties, etc). Amazing and friendly staff too - Corinne, Coren, Joe and George. They are always willing to help and make you feel safe and comfortable living there.β
βGreat friendly staff that went above and beyond to cater for my family for my nana wake. we appreciated it so much all the extra care and attention to detail They even did me a gluten-free and dairy free platter an soup, and dessert selection. I was fully included Thank you so much for your kindness would 100% recommendβ
βThe place is an Absolute hidden gem. The building is stunning and the new beer garden is perfect for all ages. The food is amazing and caters for all tastes. The owners and staff are very professional and welcoming. If youβve never tried the Circle itβs an absolute must. Even a Bouncy castle for the kids inside. 5 stars doesnβt do it justice.β
βLovely practice. 1st visit today. My dentition and team were very nice, kept me well informed on required treatments with next appointment fitted in very quickly.β
βMy daughter and I had so much fun today at Cloud 9 - we can't wait to go back. I was so impressed with the service from Shelley and Kayleigh (sorry if your names are spelt incorrectly). They even made a drink for my daughter that wasn't on the menu. We didn't mind being guinea pigs and my daughter said it was incredible. They were so friendly and welcoming. The spaces available to play in are a perfect size and both my daughter and I loved the variety of areas. They have an ample sized softplay with multiple slides and tunnels and a ball pit at the end of one of the slides. It also has a mini ball pit and a few sensory areas dotted around. They also have a room filled with books, small toys, a wooden castle, mini picnic bench, trains and tracks, a piano (our favourite) and houses containing lizards and a turtle. My daughter loved watching the lizards skitter about. Plenty of seating with lots of food and drink options for little ones and grown ups too. Baby change/toilet facilities are really spacious, super clean and tidy. As I said we cannot wait to go back and take some friends with us next time. Thank you Cloud 9.β
βBeautiful room, great location. Had a lovely overnight during our 2 week UK trip. We stayed in the 4 poster room - bed could have been a little more comfortable (thin mattress, no boxspring), but the room is sweet and the bathroom was nice and modernized with a spacious shower. The location is unbeatable - on a lovely quiet historic street while still being super close to the train station and great walking distance to the center. Self check in was seamless and easy. Would definitely recommend!β
βBrilliant accomodation in central Leeds. Well appointed rooms. Lifts were out of order, but no offer for any help with the bags on arrival or departure. Fire alarm went off in middle of night ( very loud!).Apparently , this happens a lot as it's the fire door attached to the bar which is shared and it opened by mistake , setting off very loud alarms. Rooms have a small but useful selection of breakfast snacks , which were very handy with jet lag. Room was lovely and warm and welcoming for a late 11pm Friday night arrival. Was greatly appreciated. Would definitely staff here again over a hotel. Their online customer services/bookings was excellent.β
βGreat shop with friendly staff and a wide selection of beers and ciders including non-alcoholic. A large portion of the the beers are from local breweries, but thereβs also a good selection of National and international beers. Staff are always helpful and suggest beers based on your favoured styles.β
βHeytea is good to drink, fresh ingredientsβ
βMy go-to independent cafe in Leeds. We got the sweet and savoury pancakes which were both delish. Highly recommend this place, the manager/owner is always lovely and a laugh.β
βWe came to see the fab panto today sleeping beauty! The show was amazing and best of all my little boy and girl were invited up on stage which made their day β€οΈ back again next year! β¨β
βQuirky and fun! The decor is all kinds of classic English history with a hearty splash of irreverence, split across a couple buildings that feel like homes rather than a hotel. The room itself was small, but that suited me perfectly β great for a solo traveller. Only thing to note is Iβm somewhat tall for a woman and on that bed I just about could touch my toes to the window sill while my head was by the headboard. I thought it was quite fun but taller people might want to take note. Everything was neat and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The walls are a little thin, like in any old house, so you can hear some bustling in the morning, but I personally found that endearing. The staff were very kind and friendly, and even introduced me to the hotel cat, Teddy! The location is great, just a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of town. I come through York frequently so I can say with certainty and delight that Iβll be staying here again! Thanks again to the staff for a lovely experience.β
βThe best breakfast I've had in an age, bar none. A pleasant, clean and welcoming place, well lit and comfortably furnished. The staff were welcoming and tolerant of our prevaricating over what to have for breakfast. We all chose brunch options - eggs benedict; sourdough with avocado; and, sourdough with beetroot; plus a side of pancakes! I had the beetroot dish - Whipped Feta & Beets. Toasted sourdough with chilled pickled beets and a poached egg was an unexpected winner - the warmth of the bread with the flavour and chill of the beets, combined with the whipped feta, were a sensation. Sense of taste, texture and temperature running riot in my mouth with every bite. I had a large black Americano to wash it down - a flavoursome coffee - and felt genuine disappointment as I savoured the final mouthful of beets and bread, Great breakfast venue, thoroughly recommended.β
βPopworld is such an amazing night out, the music ranges from older to newer hits. The bar staff were brilliant and helped me choose a drink based on what I was feeling, El and Kirsty were both very helpful and had smiles on their faces.β
βWell for a start, you carnβt go wrong calling this pub the little bull. Every window has a blue bull printed on it. At the front of pub is a big blue bull printed on it. The entrance door is blue. The window blinds are blue. Inside the decoris blue. They took out the two log open fires. They took away all the bar stools. Theirs a bandit gambling slot money machine standing at the bar now. Bandit gambling mchines in the pool table room. I got half glass of sparkling cider. I gave a ten pound note to the bar tender. He was busy and looking and talking to his next customer. I had my change nearly thrown at my hand and missed. I was not impressed. I visited the pub a few months ago. I got a pint of John smiths bitter. I took the glass of John smiths outside and sat on the new bench. I was waiting for my bus. The bustop right outside the little bull. My bus came before I had time to drink my John smiths. I got on the bus with my pint of John smiths in my coat pocket. The bus driver did not see me. The manager of the little bull was watching everything. He saw me getting on the bus with a pint glass of John smiths. I was unaware of this. I didnβt mean to do it. I wasnβt thinking straight. Next time I went in the little bull. The manager was ready for me. He said I should be barred. He served me a drink. I have since on my eBay. Bought the manager of the little bull. Pint glass of John smiths. Costing me Β£8.50.I have it right now and Iβm taking the glass down to the little bull today at 2pm. They do not serve cooked food. Or even a cold sandwich. Just crisps and nuts. Round the back of the blue little bull. They have took away all the garden furniture and umbrella shades. All the swings and slide have gone. Their is a couple of benches with no umbrella shades. Thanks for the read.β
βFantastically spacious apartment in a great location in Leeds City Centre. We were lucky enough to be allocated a 2 bedroom apartment with a huge balcony and loads of natural light in the living area though large windows on all the outside walls. Bathroom and bedrooms all clean and looked after, decent Wi-Fi, Smart TV. Was great to have something that felt like home rather than a hotel room for a few nights. Very minor issue getting into the locked gate but that was more of an us problem than the accommodation. Would be delighted to stay again.β
βExcellently located near to both the railway station and city centre. A lovely warm reception was given and our room was just what was needed. Very clean, comfy bed, fridge & refreshments and plenty of sockets to charge the gadgets! A lovely 5 minute walk along the river and youβre in the city.β
βSuper friendly owners, fantastic views, lots of exotic animals not forgetting the holiday homes which are 5 star plus. Thanks for having us both and our pet John and Angela Wβ
βVery informative & helped us plan our day.β
βLove this cafΓ© for it's great coffee - I ordered an oat milk flat white and a cup of foamy milk for accompanying little one. All the food looked fresh and tasty - just went for cake today which was delicious (particularly the lemon cake!) Staff are helpful and friendly.β
βFantastic value for money. A really personal touch from all the staff, who couldn't be more friendly and accommodating. The bedroom and bathroom were both really lovely and spacious, bed very comfortable and tons of hot water in the sumptuous bath and fab power shower. Downstairs the pub (a renovated period building) has a variety of little snug rooms and open fires, so felt very homely. Hard to believe that this gem is a 20 minute walk from Leeds City Centre!! We will certainly be back!!β
βLovely Shop, staff are very friendly and professional, the samples are what kept me there and leaving with a New lovely Single Malt. Such a great way to find a Whiskey that suits your pallet, tasting the different choices available was lovelyβ
βVisited Haworth last week and had some food at Hunters of Haworth. We ordered the steak & ale pie with mashed potato and the chilli baked potato. The food was lovely and full of flavour. The portions were generous and well presented. Will be returning when we visit the area again.β
βThis is a true find. If youβve not visited Chirpy yet you will not be disappointed when you do. It is a haven of great design and packed full of beautiful gifts.β
