“I rang the Tooth Spa and spoke to a lovely receptionist called Gosia. Gosia Was so helpful and got me booked in for the next day which was a Saturday I had a choice of two appointments. I chose a lot later on on my arrival. I was booked in and asked to take a seat and that I would see Dr Shahid as soon as he was free, which was only short while when I got into the Surgery Dr Shahid made me feel so comfortable and relaxed and safe. I explained the problem that I had a loose back molar and it was causing problems when eating And I was worried that it might fall out of night he took an x-ray and there was very little bone holding the Tooth thing so he explain To be removed which I was very very apprehensive about I can honestly say and on heart that I hardly felt the numbing injections it was so gentle kind and caring. He then waited until the anaesthetic had taken full effect. He then said I might feel a little pressure. I felt some slight pressure but nothing that bothered me and then I thought any minute now and at that point, he said bite down on this which I did. I hadn’t realised that he’d actually taken the tooth out. tooth out I never felt a thing. I cannot praise Dr Shahid and his nurse Halima enough they were so lovely. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone.”

“After being referred here by 111, I was dreading my appointment because some of the reviews are shocking I however can.hand on heart say I cannot fault the service in any way. I arrived slightly earlier than my appointment time and was met by a friendly man called Leon on Reception. A friendly smile goes a long way and Leon provided that. After filling in some forms I was called into the treatment room. The female dentist Fiona introduced herself and went through my medical history and allergies while her assistant put the details into the computer. Both Fiona and her assistant were friendly, professional and understanding. After explaining why I was there Fiona had a quick look and was more than happy to remove my troublesome wisdom tooth. She explained it wasn't rotten but my gums had receeded which allows bacteria in and could explain the excruciating pain I was in. I was given 2 injections the first I never even felt it. The second was a bit stingy but nothing major. Less than 5 mins later the tooth was out, minimal bleeding,.zero pain, and I was in and out before my actual appointment time. Thank you Leon, Fiona and your assistant, you are all a credit to your profession.”

I met Dr Lewis Butler for the first time back in late 2023 after making an online inquiry, which is when my journey with Advance Dental Care began. Having had pretty negative experiences with both NHS and private dentists in the past and a general fear of dental work, especially oral needles, I saw Lewis for the first time and instantly knew that I could put trust in his expertise and experience. A passionate and talented dentist, who puts customers needs before anything else and made me feel at ease throughout my journey with them, not just during treatment but now providing excellent, long term aftercare. After having some general work done, Lewis educated me on the poor overall condition of my teeth and mouth as a whole and gave me some long term options for treatment, all of which were expensive (as you can imagine for any major dental work via a private dentist). I opted for complete mouth rehabilitation, the most expensive and arduous of the options available to me. I put full faith in Lewis and Advance Dental Care and saw this as a long term investment in my oral health. Treatments began in January 2025 and all work is now completed and I could not be happier with the final results and the care I've been shown along the way. Lewis and his talented team at Advance Dental Care have been amazing. Lewis has been available to me at all hours of the day, even if just for advice or peace of mind regarding my teeth. When I had temporary teeth in during the treatment process, when any issues did arise they were dealt with extremely quickly and I constantly felt like everyone involved couldn't do enough for me. All staff members I have dealt with at any point throughout my journey have been professional and have genuinely felt valued as a customer and that my needs are put first. James cook and Charlotte are the dentists I use all the time and they’re both brilliant — really professional, gentle, and always make sure you feel comfortable and well looked after.
