“Have had the most GP appointments and health related sessions here. My very first GP appointment for skin issue was not the best 1st impression but every subsequent follow up and referral was brilliant. Saw physiotherapist who very patiently took my full injury history. He then referred me on to an excellent MSK service for follow up. Learned about social prescriber when another GP at BPM dealt with me during a mental health crisis. Both sessions were very helpful. All reports recorded and accesible thru NHS app so excellent database management. I am sad to leave the practice but this centre was a delight to be with for 9 months. Thank you to all staff here- made the trip to the doctors which most people dread feel a lot less scary knowing I'm in good hands. Kudos”

“I only get my teeth checked here as I have braces under an orthodontist in the city centre but the staff are always lovely. My daughter has been coming with me for more than a year to this practice and she's not frightened of the 'magic chair' or the 'shiny light' or the lady 'with the funny accent'. She's not intimidated by any of it and I think this is really important to a parent - taking your child to a dentist can be daunting especially if you're one who has had bad experiences with dentists in the past, but it's a necessary thing. My husband has fillings, smoker's gums, the works, when we started going to this practice he needed a clean and he bled tons but the staff were so patient and polite, so kind and gentle with him. They told him how to take care of his teeth in a way that his previous dentist hadn't before. The dentists, dental nurses, reception staff at this practice, they all genuinely give a damn. Even if they've just been ratted at by the previous customer, they actually physically take a deep breath, and carry on because they realise you're a brand new person not like the one before. They all treat you with a stellar smile and they really know what they're doing. :) :) :)”

“I have neglected my teeth for quite some time and needless to say I was extremely nervous to finally go for a check up after numerous years. I had absolutely no need to be nervous at all, Heather and her dental nurse Megan have been extremely polite, professional and welcoming throughout the 4 trips I have made in the last month to get everything I needed sorted. I have felt absolutely no pain during treatment with Heather always making sure my mouth was completely numb and topping up the local anaesthetic if required. Previous reviews for this dental practice refer to the previous staff working there, please do yourself a favour and give the new team a try, they have restored my faith in dentistry after some nasty childhood experiences.”

“Amber at reception has been extremely patient and helpful on multiple occasions when supporting my daughter — he always goes the extra mile and it really makes a difference. Dr Hankin has also been amazing, not only providing excellent care but also escalating my daughter’s case when 111 had given poor advice. I really appreciate the time and attention shown. The only area that could be improved is the phone system — the waiting time can be very long, and the call-back option is currently only offered to those at positions 9–10 in the queue. It would be so much better if this was available from around position 2–3, as it’s a great option for those who can’t sit listening to hold music for a long time.”

My family and I have been with this practice since coming to Tingley in 1990, never had any complaints/problems with any of the varied staff over the years and on occasions have walked in with no appointment or prior phone call and been seen within minutes. “My apple watch detected that I was experiencing high heart rates. I felt off but not ill. On Monday, 08:00, 5/08/2024, I entered my details in Patches. At 9:30, I received a text for a telephone appointment that afternoon which resulted in n appointment with a GP,08:40, Tuesday, 06/08/2024. After consultation, I was asked to wait till a room would be available for an E.CG.and blood tests. All of these were concluded resulting another G.P consultation. Resulting in a heart condition being diagnosed, full clear explanation, medication prescribed with benefits and possible side effects explained and two further appointments made. This treatment along with lovely people conducting themselves in their jobs with professional attitudes, kindness, caring and supportive given this was a bit alarming for me. Excellent surgery and patient/ client care from start to finish. I and my family have been registered with this surgery since 1993 and have only ever experienced openness, great and effective care and always , always treated with kindness. Thank you so much for everything.”

“I had a completely different experience to most first time visiting this surgery for wound care that my local gp couldn’t provide any longer and honestly I saw senior nurse Marie and she was brilliant explained far more than my own surgery I felt like she wanted to help. It’s all too easy to have negative things to say but honestly I have None I had a lovely experience and will be happy to go back to them for wound care. She was very thorough and although I only had a 20min appointment I didn’t feel rushed and she explained that I could get a 40minute one to go into things in more detail really can’t fault this surgery at all up to now 10/10”
