“I cannot thank Matthew and his amazing team more for the last 2 years. My braces journey (18 months with fixed braces top and bottom) is officially complete! It's been an emotional one! I had not visited a dentist since childhood. I was petrified in all honesty. I couldn't even wait in a waiting room with my children for their check ups. After reading a review of this practice I decided if they could do it I would also give it a go! I was desperate to have a shiny new smile for my 40th birthday!! My wish has finally come true!! 2 years ago I started my journey at this amazing practice. It took everything I had to even pick the phone up to find the information but when I did I didn't regret a thing! Vanessa, Jo and the reception team are amazing! They have listened to my constant questions throughout my treatment (via phone and a lot of emails!!). They have all supported me through the treatment I needed before my braces were fitted. I have never felt more welcomed or at ease at any dental practice. I have had a lot of treatment of my teeth and even though I was anxious I had literally nothing to worry about. Every appointment I had was supported by Matthew and his amazing team. They definitely got used to my ways and I learnt many many techniques to relax throughout the appointments and felt at ease from the start. It's been a long but supported journey and I could not be happier with the results! I love my new smile and I got it just after my 40th birthday which was the icing on the cake!! If I can go through this journey anyone can! Do not hesitate if you've never visited a dentist before or you're anxious about it, there is nothing to worry about! You're in great hands! “Been using Ainsty Dental for almost 20 years. Steve has been looking after mine, my husband's and my 2 (now adult) children. Between us I've lost track of how many fillings and other treatments we've had. He has done implants for my husband and I and all gone really well, so much so that we've recommended friends that have also had treatment there. I suffer with a gag reflex that Steve deals well with, able to take X-rays and perform treatments that I usually struggle with. Whenever I've had issues such as a cracked tooth or toothache, I've been booked in quickly and all resolved quickly, whereas I know friends that have struggled with quick appointments with their dentist. “We moved into Bramhope in 2019 and after a few months of travelling back to my old dentist, I decided to move to a local dentist. I looked at the reviews of various practices and Gunn Dental stood out from the rest. I first visited when I was in some considerable pain with a back molar. I got a speedy appointment with Ross who quickly put me at ease with his relaxed manner and witty comments. The tooth was cracked and was subsequently removed and replaced with an implant which I'm delighted with. Ross and his team have been brilliant throughout my treatment. He takes time to explain what he's doing and I've never felt nervous or uncomfortable. I can't praise him enough and have no hesitation in recommending the practice to anyone looking for a dentist.”
