“I cannot thank Matthew and his amazing team more for the last 2 years. My braces journey (18 months with fixed braces top and bottom) is officially complete! It's been an emotional one! I had not visited a dentist since childhood. I was petrified in all honesty. I couldn't even wait in a waiting room with my children for their check ups. After reading a review of this practice I decided if they could do it I would also give it a go! I was desperate to have a shiny new smile for my 40th birthday!! My wish has finally come true!! 2 years ago I started my journey at this amazing practice. It took everything I had to even pick the phone up to find the information but when I did I didn't regret a thing! Vanessa, Jo and the reception team are amazing! They have listened to my constant questions throughout my treatment (via phone and a lot of emails!!). They have all supported me through the treatment I needed before my braces were fitted. I have never felt more welcomed or at ease at any dental practice. I have had a lot of treatment of my teeth and even though I was anxious I had literally nothing to worry about. Every appointment I had was supported by Matthew and his amazing team. They definitely got used to my ways and I learnt many many techniques to relax throughout the appointments and felt at ease from the start. It's been a long but supported journey and I could not be happier with the results! I love my new smile and I got it just after my 40th birthday which was the icing on the cake!! If I can go through this journey anyone can! Do not hesitate if you've never visited a dentist before or you're anxious about it, there is nothing to worry about! You're in great hands! Matthew is the best and his team are amazing! I'm going to miss my appointments every 8 weeks. They became part of my life. End of a chapter. I really cannot wait to enjoy my new smile and I can definitely encourage anyone debating it to just do it!!”

“Excellent, very knowledgeable staff, who advised me on the issues with my vehicle after the diagnostic check for the engine light. Whilst I was waiting in reception I was quite shocked to hear that they were advising a women on the condition of her car and that is wasn't road worthy and she decided to drive it away. Once she left the chap looked at me and said "what more can I do"? I felt very reassured that the staff and this business genuinely care for their customers as the concern on the chaps face, said it all. Pleased to say I paid for the diagnosis and repair as they did it while I waited. Car is now running perfectly and I will go back when I need other things doing. This family ran garage is run by genuine people, who car for your safety and your car.”

“My mum and I travelled from Spain to see Gary Oldman in YTR's production of Krapp's Last Tape and we had the loveliest time. We were fortunate enough to attend three performances this week and everyone from Gisele & Gary to everybody working at YTR were the kindest every time. Since I live abroad I thought I might have difficulties to purchase tickets and pre-order merch but everyone at box office were incredibly helpful and made the process very very easy. It's an experience we'll never ever forget and I'm so thankful to YTR for making it happen. I strongly recommend visiting if you have a chance. Lovely theatre with lovely staff & crew.”

Staff - friendly and super efficient, a pleasure to see a team working so well on a very busy breakfast shift - much better than many large corporate chain hotels we have stayed in. Breakfast - decent breakfast with a good range of options. Room - good size, very clean and warm. Parking - very reasonable price for parking in York. Stay again - definitely. Value - very good. Recommend - absolutely. Overall - spot on, far better than many places we've stayed in.”

Mr. Chitsabesan and the whole team were fantastic — professional, kind, and reassuring throughout. Nurse Tori Rosheen was especially helpful and patient, answering all my questions with a smile. “The Milner is still upto a great standard. Staff are excelent. We were in a front facing superior room. With fantastic views of the Minster. We had a meal last night which was cooked perfectly and the breakfast this morning had a great selection and good quality. We will definely be visiting next Christmas as it is idealy situated for York city centre. Very dog friendly hotel”

“Seats are very comfortable (better than Everyman, in fact). Ticket prices are probably the cheapest anywhere - £7 for an adult on a Saturday. Staff were friendly. Venue was clean. I'm not normally a fan of a multiplex cinema but this was a good experience.”

“Amazing experience, about 10 minuite drive from the York town centre. The room cleanliness was up to a high standard, spacious room. The pool, hot tub and spa facilities included in the price of the room. Complimentary towels given when entering the pool area. The hot tub was at a great temperature and very relaxing. Would not reccomend the hotel more :)”

“A great group of ladies that make this WI very welcoming! They have interesting speakers each month plus they organise dinners at different restaurants and creative/crafting sessions outside of the meetings. They meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7pm (for 7.30pm) at Jacob’s Well.”

“Amazing Staff and First-Class Treatment I can’t thank everyone at York Hospital enough. Anyone who has suffered with gallbladder problems will understand how severe and exhausting the pain can be, and the care I’ve received has made an incredibly difficult time so much easier. Every member of staff has been genuinely friendly, supportive and reassuring. I’ve already had my gallbladder removed and am now waiting for my next procedure to deal with the trapped stones, and throughout it all I’ve felt truly looked after. “Excellent service from the staff yesterday. Somehow I managed to order a pizza with no cheese (blasphemy!!) and didn't realise until it was too late to add it and they had already cooked my pizza. I had asked to order another one and forfeit the money as it was my mistake and they offered to remake my pizza for me free of charge. Obviously the look of disappointment of a cheesless pizza on my face said it all, I couldn't cope with eating a pizza with no cheese! And best of all it was piping hot, fresh, and delicious!! Well played Dominos!”
