“Absolutely fantastic place - friendly and affordable. I visited for the first time with my little girl for some lunch. The moment we walked in - the staff greeted us as though they had met us before. An instant feeling of warmth. The food was great and they even customised my daughters milkshake to make her happy. “Went for breakfast here and got the small breakfast with hash brown. I would argue this breakfast is better than many of the breakfasts I have had within Leeds city centre and beats capri cafe. I would highly recommend, the staff are lovely and accommodating and you can tell the food is made with love. I recommend bringing cash to leave a lovely tip for this amazing local cafe.”

“Best veggie brekkie in ages, good food, home made hash browns, really nicely cooked mushrooms, everything was quick, well cooked fresh and hot. Nice place to sit too, pleasant fella behind the counter, obviously regulars coming in which is a good sign. Will be back!”

“West park cafe delivers everytime! I recommend the chorizo eggs or posh cheese on toast. Mine and my friends go too cafe - never disappoints! Staff are so friendly prices are super reasonable and coffee is great! Loss of homemade cakes and treats to take home too!!”

“Run by 3 lovely ladies with an old type of friendly atmosphere.First time I have tried it today,a bit small but room enough .I got a full English 2 of everything apart from hash browns which I didnt miss ,a really good plateful at a great price.Will certainly call again when Im down that way for sure.My kind of cafe.”

“Me and my mum always visit this cafe maybe once a week. Food is delicious every time and served with a smile. The last visit on 28/08/2024 I noticed some dipping boxes in the chiller, I bought the biscoff brownies. Oh my days!!!! Absolutely to die for! The nicest brownie me and my family have ever tasted!!! “Took the kids for their first camping experience and fair to say we will be going again. My 5 year old loved seeing the bikes and everyone is so polite and friendly. We had food and absolutely loved every bite, the portion sizes are well worth the money. Toilets and showers cleaned regular. Easy access to water if needed. Beautiful place and fantastic people. Thank you for making our first family camping experience one to start many.”

“We had some free tickets to use so went twice in one day! Not much choice for an 11yr old to see so we saw 2 old movies (Hocus pocus and back to the future) I doubt we would have gone if we didn't have free tickets. Seats are comfortable and it wasn't busy.”

“We come here every time we are in the area. It’s never disappointed us with a great selection of freshly cooked food. Whether it’s full English or their selection of home made pies, unusual salads, sandwiches and even cream teas - they do the lot. Great food, great value and lovely atmosphere - it’s a winning formula. What’s more you can walk or cycle to/from here along the Rochdale canal path. Perfect.”

“Visited Sandal Castle, mid-July, after discovering it on Google. I was so happy to see there was a café too. We, 3 of us, arrived just as the café was about to close 14:30, the café staff went out of their way to cook me a delicious bacon and sausage roll, my son had 3 cheese roll with chips. We also had 3 home made rock cakes / scones, coffee and cold drinks. I can’t wait for another warm day to return. Carpark is free too.”
