“From booking to the end of my stay at courtyard mews I was dealt in a friendly yet very professional way. All our needs were met and Harry the owner was on call at any point . The apartments was exceptionally clean and had everything you would need and again if we found we needed anything in addition I knew Harry was on the end of the phone ready to assist. 100% customer relations and service 100% clean, well presented and comfortable modern apartment. I would highly recommend and should I need to let again in the near future this is certainly where I will stay again ! Thank you Harry for the warm welcome and a perfect stay for me and my children.”

“We stayed at Wakefield Lime Lodge for a work trip and it was a great little hotel. Very clean, great rates, and excellent service. A special mention to Georgina on reception — really friendly and informative, and made us feel very welcome. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely stay here without hesitation. “We had an unplanned stay having been stuck in traffic for 7 hours. We arrived late in the evening. A lovely chap called Cain helped me book a room. His service was impressive. He was welcoming and friendly. An asset to Travel lodge. Clean room , comfy beds. Would definitely recommend.”

“Best Ibis we stayed at! Great location, close to Leeds, Xscape and outlet village. Room very spacious with big bathroom, big TV, comfy beds, tea, coffee, kettle and water available in the room. Highly recommended!”

“Had a lovely 3 night stay here with my daughter. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff are genuinely friendly and take time to engage with their guests - we really felt welcomed. The buffet breakfast selection was good and items regularly replenished. The location is very central - it's an easy walk from the station, and public transport is good. Also lots of cafes, bars and eating places nearby. We took local buses to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and to Sandal Castle, and hopped on Wakefield's free bus to get to and from the Hepworth Gallery. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Perfect stop over. Considering that it’s so near the motorway I was surprised how quiet it was in the room. Room was spacious. Well equipped. Very clean and comfortable The staff exceptionally helpful, polite and cheerful”

“Well for a start, you carn’t go wrong calling this pub the little bull. Every window has a blue bull printed on it. At the front of pub is a big blue bull printed on it. The entrance door is blue. The window blinds are blue. Inside the decoris blue. They took out the two log open fires. They took away all the bar stools. Theirs a bandit gambling slot money machine standing at the bar now. Bandit gambling mchines in the pool table room. I got half glass of sparkling cider. I gave a ten pound note to the bar tender. He was busy and looking and talking to his next customer. I had my change nearly thrown at my hand and missed. I was not impressed. I visited the pub a few months ago. I got a pint of John smiths bitter. I took the glass of John smiths outside and sat on the new bench. I was waiting for my bus. The bustop right outside the little bull. My bus came before I had time to drink my John smiths. I got on the bus with my pint of John smiths in my coat pocket. The bus driver did not see me. The manager of the little bull was watching everything. He saw me getting on the bus with a pint glass of John smiths. I was unaware of this. I didn’t mean to do it. I wasn’t thinking straight. Next time I went in the little bull. The manager was ready for me. He said I should be barred. He served me a drink. I have since on my eBay. Bought the manager of the little bull. Pint glass of John smiths. Costing me £8.50.I have it right now and I’m taking the glass down to the little bull today at 2pm. They do not serve cooked food. Or even a cold sandwich. Just crisps and nuts. Round the back of the blue little bull. They have took away all the garden furniture and umbrella shades. All the swings and slide have gone. Their is a couple of benches with no umbrella shades. “Lovely big, clean rooms with an extremely friendly host. Delicious cooked breakfast every morning. The entrance is right for a large car, but doable. The village nearby has several restaurants and pubs for food as well as two small grocery stores for food.”

“We call here quite regularly as we walk our dog , Teddy around the castle. The cafe is a credit to-the staff as they are very welcoming,the latte is one of the best around and the cakes are delicious.”

“I stayed here to see family for a few days, first visit what can I say it was lovely, staff were great made me feel welcome breakfast was very tasty and the girls on breaking were great even the evening staff also the housekeeper I met that day was very pleasant, only downside the car park was full of litter shout out to Karen Caitlin Mandy and the lady on the evening shift forgot her name will definitely be back.”

“Charming place to stay in Wakefield. My friend and I came to stay from Edinburgh to go and see the Yorkshire sculpture park and we had a lovely stay. We got a big, comfortable room with a double and a single bad for a very good price, and for just 5 pounds more we both got free WiFi and breakfast! It was really worth it because the breakfast was nice and very abundant. It had everything from cereal, to full English breakfast. The women working there was also lovely, very kind and helpful. The location is also good, rather close to the station.”

“WOW!!! From start to finish this whole stay was perfect, we were left high and dry by another company who we had booked the weekend with, phoned to stay here and within minutes we were booked in. As we arrived at the venue every single room was finished to one of the highest standards I have seen when it comes to an air bnb. Comfy beds, showers with great pressure in every room, it is clear to see that no expense had been spared throughout this property. The customer service was 5* The venue was 5* The sleep was 5* Access to the motorway was amazing for those travelling. We will 10000% be using here again and recommending this. Thank you.”
