The Daisy Foundation provides essential support for expectant and new parents in Monk Fryston and the surrounding Leeds area. This community-focused business offers a range of classes designed to guide families through pregnancy and early parenthood. Core services include active birthing classes, comprehensive antenatal parent prep, and baby massage sessions known as Tinies. They also offer Wrigglers classes for older babies, focusing on development through movement and song.
“I attended both the Daisy birthing classes and the active birthing workshop with Kayleigh Burton and found them both excellent. The Daisy birthing classes helped me to prepare mentally and physically for the birth of my baby, through learning breathing techniques to use in labour, and movements to help get my baby into the optimal position. I also learnt about how my body works, which helped me to understand how to get the best from it during my labour. The classes made me think about what choices were available to me, including where to give birth and what type of pain relief to use. The active birthing workshop reinforced what I had learned, and gave the opportunity for my husband and birth partner to gain the same understanding in order to best support me on the day. It also helped him to prepare mentally for what to expect, and gave us both confidence in the decisions I had made. I think if I hadn’t attended these classes the birth experience would have seemed a lot more confusing and scary. Kayleigh made the antenatal education both memorable and enjoyable and I can’t recommend her highly enough.”
“Work in progress but a nice space Ma Shaa Allah.”

“Visited via attending a birthday party for a 3 year old It was presented well, clearly time taken to make sure that the birthday girl had her name in lights Safety features magnetised gate, high counters out of reach for enquiring hands It was good to have a private party. Food was appropriate and just as requested The play area was just ours to explore, the children loved it. The staff were fabulous, making sure children enjoyed themselves, making sure that food was ready on time, cake cutting was prepared ensuring that all present has a good time.”
“Both my son and currently my daughter have enjoyed being part of the Little Gym. The instructors are fabulous and have brought their gymnastic skills on fabulously though fun and imaginative games. Great for burning off lots of energy after school and my daughter loves the holiday clubs which have lots of varied activities including crafts. My little girl's birthday party was also hosted at the Little Gym and she and her friends had an amazing time.”
“We went for an appointment with the feeding team but were welcomed by the lovely staff who talked to me about the classes they do with dads to go to with their newborns and children up to 1”
“Our son is about to start in January. I am leaving a 5* review already because we have been treated really nicely during the visits, I was impressed by the spaces and the organisation of the nursery and surely the process of registering our child couldn't be more straightforward. It's our first child, we haven't lived in the area for long, don't know many people with kids and it was a stressful time choosing the right nursery. I do believe we have chosen wisely. BONUS: They offer a refer a friend scheme too, which I didn't know about but you know now!!! I'll come back to update the review once our son has settled.”

“Baby sensory is an amazing place to go with your newborn and learn how to engage with them at a level you might not have known before (if you’re a first time mum). Attending these classes helped me bond with my baby and at a time when everything felt so foreign to me gave me a lot of confidence. I cannot recommend them enough.”
“It's a nice quiet place with a rug scattered with toys and books. Very homely. You have to ring at the door to get inside the parking area, if you're on a car, otherwise park on pentland road and then walk inside to the centre, it's at the very end. Nurses are friendly and accommodating.”
“Bloom baby class is so so much fun! My son absolutely loves it, especially Cooper the Caterpillar of course!! Nicole is brilliant and all the babies love her, with the added bonus of a cuppa and biscuits after! I couldn’t recommend these classes with Nicole more! She’s fab!! Xx”
