“Our first visit after my parents recommended it. We didn't book but we were accommodated straight away and shown to our table. After browsing the menu we chose the two courses for £9.90 . The starter arrived which was delicious followed by a lovely main course. The staff were nice and friendly.”

“Walked in just after it opened Waiter came quickly and sat us down and asked how we were. She recommended some dishes. Very knowledgeable staff. She was called SUMI. She knows her stuff. Very intelligent welcoming woman. We ordered the Korean with egg fried rice. Chicken dumplings. Malaysian butter chicken, Black pepper beef noodles, volcano sushi. Now let me tell you about the Malaysian butter chicken dolloped ontop of a crispy baby paratha. This was next level, would come back just for this. Volcano Sushi was genuinely really nice and crispy, easy on thr tongue. All in all, this place is legit, and defo recommended for people who want a different taste to your usual burger and pizza. Blue lagoon was spot on. Not too sweet. It was perfect”

“I was so close to giving up on finding good pizza in Wakefield. When the top-rated options are Pizza Joy, a takeaway using frozen bases, and Papa John’s, a mainstream chain, it’s hard not to lose hope. I had. But I gave it one last try—enter Basebox. This is the best pizza in Wakefield, and honestly one of the best I’ve had anywhere in the UK. I’m not sure what “style” it is, but I’ve only found something similar once before, all the way up in Durham. If the quality stays consistent, this will be my go-to pizza spot from now on. My only minor criticism is that the dip pots are a little too small—one barely covers a slice—but at 75p a pot, I can let that slide. Congratulations, Basebox, on beating the odds.”

“My first time visiting the Batley branch, and I genuinely cannot fault it. The food quality and incredible taste surpass both the Bradford and Leeds branches, in my opinion. Everything was cooked perfectly, the chicken was juicy, and the spice level was spot on. The service was fast and friendly, too. This is now my go-to location! Keep up the brilliant work!”

“Had a lovely meal at Indian Nights. Hospitality was great and the restaurant has a nice overall ambience. The interior design is beautiful with a relaxing water feature wall. The menu offered a good varied selection and the presentation of our meal including the starter was beautiful, and all very delicious. “I bought from here today and in my opinion it was honestly amazing, the man behind the counter was very friendly. Me and my girlfriend both ordered the doner on chips, which was an extremely reasonable price, and we got a very good portion of both. I got mine with chilli sauce and it was spot on, just enough to have a nice spice but not too overpowering. The actual meat was cooked to perfection, no burnt edges and no undercooked patches. The fries were slightly soggy but this could be due to my sauce. Overall I would highly recommend.”

“We've had 2 orders. Really friendly. So far we've tried Crispy beef, chicken curry, sweet and sour Cantonese chicken and char sui & chicken fried rice. Prawn toast, spring rolls, ribs, crispy seaweed, satay chicken and s&p squid. These have all been really good sized portions. The food is always hot. Tastes brilliant. Sometimes you can end up with slimy chicken. This place does not serve that at all. It's a good texture. Have to say, I'm very impressed. Plus I love the money trees!”

I absolutely love the deep pan donner pizza and the donner or chicken kebabs. I've been ordering from here for a couple of years now and have never been disappointed.”
