“Biemme cycling clothing is the best I have ever used. I have only been cycling for a couple of years, I've had northwave and Altura shorts but my Biemme bibshorts are by far the comfiest, even on 60-70 mile bike rides. I have quite long/skinny legs but the gripper is tight enough to keep the shorts in place. My Seacroft Wheelers club kit was also done by Biemme which was very reasonably priced and I use it everyday for commuting and most weekends, it is lightweight and durable and the colours are bright which helps us to be seen on the road. Overall I'm really happy and can recommend the custom or retail clothing to anyone in the market for some decent kit.”

“Great course with excellent facilities, both on the greens and in the clubhouse. Recently refurbished, the clubhouse has a great vibe, and the outdoor verandah offers stunning views perfect for a post-game beer. The course is challenging, with some tough par 4s that can ruin your scorecard. Definitely worth playing if you're in the area.”

“This is a wonderful place to visit. Wool, patterns and accessories in abundance. It is a family run business and they are always at hand for advice or a chat. Many bags of yarn available at very reasonable prices, discontinued colours of styles of yarn as well as the newest yarns on the market. I can really recommend this as a go to place for yarn. Also upstairs they sell outdoor clothing at good prices and good brands. Raincoats, Boots, Hats etc ., Brilliant all rounder !!!!”

“Like Home Bargains all year round, but best at Christmas when has its Christmas mantle on. Went this time to buy two shopping trolleys for doing our shopping, as not able to carry bags very well, but can pull a trolley. Very well made and did what it said on the tin, robust and not bad for £9.99 each. Everyone friendly and helpful.”

Made the mistake of buying an ebike from a competitor bike store in Wakefield who completely fluffed up the setup to the point my new £9000 bike was dangerous and unrideable. Luke was recommended at Cycle Gear in Halifax so I travelled over and they sorted everything out like a Formula 1 team. So fast and thorough. “Love me a BrewDog bar. Always done out trendy and on point. Great beer and food. The staff are always attentive. I've never had a bad experience yet. This bar is huge with different sections and shuffleboard in the middle. They were playing great music and I even had a little dance. The only downside is that it was on the quieter side for a Saturday night, I really hope that it gets busier. We will certainly be back! Thinking of going down on wings Wednesday for a sesh!”
