“Sports Direct doesn't have the best public perception however in reality it is a good store with great prices . Today I visited the Leeds store ( Headrow) and the quality of service from a supervisor and the store manager was exceptional. Both gave time and thought and delivered a quality product.”

“Excellent customer service from a young gentleman called Spike. He was very helpful and was more than happy to help. However the lady that served us at the till was quite the opposite a lady with blonde hair, I didn’t catch her name but I think she was the team leader. Asked her where we could find men’s joggers and she replied in a rude manner saying she doesn’t work in that department and couldn’t help. Surely she doesn’t just stand at that till for the full shift Wasn’t happy when we asked for a paper receipt gave a loud sigh and went to get it I was not happy with the customer service she gave today”

“I wanted to find an all in one functional trainer for my garage that does pretty much everything and Leon was so informative. He wasn't pushy in his sales methods at all and his knowledge about all of the different products was next level. Leon was very patient, multiple phone calls and emails later and spent time with me in store demonstrating different exercises on the machine and how to set up. I took it to J’s who within 10 minutes replaced the inner tubes at a cost of £21, the staff were brilliant from answering my enquiry email to completing the job. “On a weekend break I called into Yorkshire Runner to enquire about Hoka Clifton 9 shoes. Unfortunately they didn't have my size and informed me a new model was being released. I tried on a few other pairs to get the correct size. They then checked online to see if they could size order a pair in my size. Thankfully they could. They covered postage to send them to me in Northern Ireland. The staff were extremely helpful and the customer service was outstanding. I would highly recommend calling into Yorkshire Runner if you ate in the Otley area.”

“Took a bike in due to a minor fault, this was a walk in with no prior booking. The staff were great, the gentleman behind the counter who I think may have been called Rob, looked at the bike straight away and diagnosed the fault. He asked if I could leave the bike with him and within an hour he called me back to say it was ready to collect. This was all done at an extremely good price and the service could not have been better!”

“Went to the Puma York outlet in August. They had plenty of deals on and some good stock in, as well as a good deal (£30 off £100 spend). We had a bit of trouble on one item not being recognised for its labelled price but the staff and especially manager Kurtis were brilliant in helping us. Would highly recommend a visit”
