“I had a consultation recently with Mr Smith re: upper blepharoplasty. I had wanted this procedure done for many years and had taken lots of time to research clinics anf surgeons. The clinic was very calm and reception staff very welcoming. I found Mr Smith to be very professional, approachable, and personable. He fully explained the procedure and risks/healing journey. After assessing me, he explained he didn't recommend the procedure for me currently and explained the reasons why I wasn't really suitable. Although I was disappointed, (and still am!) as I wasn't expecting that outcome, and had finally plucked up the courage to book a consultant, I appreciated his honesty and sense of professional responsibility and ethical standards. I will definitely book into Coppergate again in the future if I'm considering any other procedures.”

“Visited here as part of York Restaurant Week. That chicken mandi was unbelievably tasty, can tell the right amount of seasoning was used. I could see the restaurant owner adjusting the lights to enhance the dining atmosphere, which I find very nice. I also had a soup with a spicy kick to it. Like others have commented, I never tried Yemeni food so made it even better.”

“Visited the hotel today for afternoon tea and it was simply lovely. The young man who met us at the front door was friendly and helpfully took us through to the dining area. The waitress who served us was amazing -friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. “Love this sandwich shop! The staff are always so friendly and the shop is done out really nice and it's so clean. The choice is unreal! The lady who owns the shop apparently does all the cakes herself too! They do the best millionaire shortbread and flapjacks i've ever had! I'm really fussy when it comes to meat and also the quality of food in general and I'm never disappointed here. Beautiful freshly baked bread and the best meat at sausages! Lovely big portions as well. And although i'm not a pork pie lover I hear they are the best around for miles! I strongly recommend stopping by if you are ever passing.”

“Perfect place for a stop if you're cycling in the area. It was a good menu, with lots of choice and vegetarian options. There's space to prop your bike against the window outside, and see it from your table. There's also a side alley you could potentially leave your bike, but would be out of sight once you were in the cafe.”

“When in Leeds, my family and I always try and visit Kapow Coffee (The Calls) for a warm drink and a sweet treat! There is always such a warm and relaxed atmosphere there where we can just sit and watch the world go by. The staff are always really cheery and always go above and beyond to ensure that we have a pleasant visit! The manager here is always very kind and chatty and you can really tell that he is passionate about his work. He definitely knows his coffees!!=) We will continue to visit Kapow Coffee as it is one of the best in Leeds!”
