“As a fellow small business owner it is very disheartening to read the fake reviews against poppys cafe. I use the cafe as and when I want and it is never dirty, grubby or the staff rude. What is more the food is always good, tasty and fresh and on the only occasion in the 2 years I have known anyone to have a query with their order Alison sorted it out ASAP. The fact that the 3 1* reviews have only ever reviewed this 1 place shows they are new fake accounts all done to sabotage a business. Very sad. You should try the Latte, the coffee is very good nice beans!! Lol”

“Beautiful brunch this morning at cafe clo, the avocado on toast was amazing and the chocolate clementine torte was lovely too. Service was efficient and friendly, all staff very pleasant. Only negative would be the tea needs to be served slightly hotter as it went cold too quickly but other than that fantastic. Will definitely be back again. Thankyou to all staff!”

“I went in for a drink pre lockdown on a couple occassions and could not fault the service or the friendliness of the locals that are there. Having recently found out that they now offered food I felt obliged to try it and can hand on heart say it was some of the best Indian take away I have had in Leicester! I noticed the venue had also had a makeover done it looks amazing, great space to go and relax. Can not wait for the lockdown to be lifted so I can go enjoy some drinks with my friends in the new bar.”

“It's a nice place for different types of rice dishes. Chicken fried rice, beef fried rice and the likes. The portions are really large and served in a large takeaway pack.”

“Just came for takeaway for my first time. Absolutely amazing food. I asked for the spiciest thing they could make and was recommended Chicken Tikka Naga. The flavour was incredible and the spice definitely hit well. The front desk was very friendly and was lovely to talk to. Highly recommend this place. I will be going back again!”

“Hassan's Balti is a takeaway but you have to pre order through the app or online, chose the items you want , choose a pick up time or delivery, check out online or pay cash on collection. I chose to collect my order , they were very busy and it was ready on time. The food was very nice, I recommend the tandoori mixed grill and chicken shashlik all the food we ordered was very good, this place is highly recommended by me and my GF.”
