“I was brought here by my partner for a quick getaway. The room was clean even though it was dated. The beds are large, firm and comfortable. The staff were brilliant, helpful and friendly. The food was out of this world. I proud of myself being a big eater but after just having the starter and main I couldn't go on any further as the meals were of a generous portion. Would I come back here. Yes I would and I will more than likely be back soon.”

“Stayed over at travel lodge as working locally and decided give pizza hut delivery a try again as no local one where I live. Pizzas were yummy especially for only £5 each. Freezing cold Pepsi max cherry to wash down and delivered within the hour on a busy Sunday evening. Friendly driver who adhered to social distancing and even in the rain had a smile on his face. Thank you all for keeping up high standards during these times. Will order again if back this way again”

“Honestly what baffles me is that half the reviews here are blaming the delivery companies rather than the establishment itself with really annoys me. the Grill and Angies for me are always the place to go to for fried chicken. It always tastes good, they cook fresh to order and yes, the workers might seem tired and perhaps grumpy at times but they have to almost always deal with drunken students on the regular. Will continue to come back to these geezers”

“Popped in for a curry, chips and prawn crackers. Delightful! The crackers were pure white (always a telltale sign that the fat is clean). It was a lovely meal and they gave us an extra bag of prawn crackers. We’ll be back.”

“My go-to Chinese takeaway! Whenever we fancy one we always drive from the other side of Leicester to collect as it’s always spot on. Food is always fresh and tasty, AND extremely cheap. Recommend the Munch boxes! You get so much for your money, can easily feed 3/4 people, or 2 in our case lol. Staff are really pleasant and so friendly - wouldn’t go anywhere else!”
