“Lovely local shop. Great choice of selection, including for vegetarian. If you aren't sure what to get just ask for a recommendation. Ask them to read your order back to you, mistakes happen but they are always happy to correct it. The staff are very friendly and always brighten my day. High quality deli meats, a wide range of third party "artisan" products in store, crisps were a bit stale but everything else was perfect. Support local businesses :-)”

“First time eating here, thought we'd give it a go based on great Google reviews and it didn't disappoint! Fantastic! The English breakfasts my friend and I had were hot, tasty and great portion sizes. Service was quick and there were no quibbles swapping out some items that we didn't like for something else. Locally sourced meat was great to see and it was much better quality and more flavourful than you would normally get. Price was great considering there are more expensive and lower quality alternatives. 100% will be coming back!”

“We ordered between 4 of us, chips, battered cod, sausage, mushy peas and gravy. Couldn't complain about anything really except the chips looked a little anemic although they tasted good. The cod was great. Quite a large queue but that has to be a good sign. Would definitely go again”

Pizzas are good and so is the chicken but they Absolutely smash the kebabs here they are so good, the chicken wraps are also really good, they are normally super busy over the weekend so we always phone ahead and collect on our way through. would highly recommend”

“After a change in management this beautiful little local pub is finally getting the love it deserves. The new food menu is delicious and affordable, I especially love the seasonal pumpkin soup! The other lady who served us was also awesome. 2pm Sunday afternoon after the busy period so it was about half full. Ordered on the app and foot was at the table within 15 mins. “I get the £9.99 meal deal to pick up which is very tasty. This time I ordered online to deliver (order direct on their website to get the best price). I noticed that they had milkshakes for the first time. I ordered one with my meal and it was absolutely delicious. Saffron had been my go to for milkshakes but for delivery you have to order desserts separately with a minimum of £10. This milkshake is just as good and you can order it as part of your meal. Will definitely be ordering again.”
