“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience at Halfords in Widnes. I went in to pick up everything I needed for an oil and filters change on two cars, and the staff were brilliant in helping me find exactly the right products. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure I had everything sorted before leaving. The whole process was quick and easy, and I left feeling well looked after. Definitely recommend this store for anyone needing car parts or advice – I’ll be back again!”

“Me and my sister go quite often, usually once a week. The food is often nice (too nice, hence why we are now fat and broke,a Nandos diet is much needed). Staff are friendly, especially Lewis (pretty sure it is his name, apologises if not). He is always very friendly and has great customer service.”

“All farm shops ive been a loyal customer to have closed. I eventually with the help of google, found this gem. Lots of fresh veg/fruit, sacks of potatoes, and to see a large cauliflower again was a joy much bigger than supermarkets. They have logs kindling too and plenty of other produce. Staff were very friendly, happy and egar to help. Just what farm shop sould be. Love it”

“I have been going this restaurant for years. And it only gets better all the time. It is a lovely comfortable relaxed atmosphere and the food is always spot on. My favourite the special chow mein. Also the tea time special meals are really good too. Julie”

“Well searching for a decent chippy and came across this one with great reviews so click clunk I was on my way. As I parked up at the back the doors where open and I could see the chefs With there's woks busily cooking and others running about busy. Ordered the hot and sour soup as usual as I hunt for the holy grail of hot and sour soups. And this comes close. It has that dark smokey look and taste I love , with loads meats and vegetables in . And wasn't sickly sweet like most others.Very tasty. Chicken Shenzuan was lovely and spicy with lots of fresh baby corn. Carrots and green peppers and onion. The chicken was real chicken and there was lots of it. Big chunks , these guys aren't stingy on the meat. Very satisfied with this meal. And once I mixed it with the tasty fried rice and excellent chips crispy on the outside fluffy in the middle it was a very decent meal indeed. The half roast duck with a lovely hoisin sauce tub was meaty and came with plenty of cucumber and lemongrass but I felt this veg was not fresh . The cucumber had no moisture in the bite. Probably been in fridge for a long time. But these guys were busy and ran of their feet so no harm done . Only negatives about coming here ...it looked like a scene out of shameless outside. Lads with tattoos on face and dogs on and off the leads lead , shouting and lager in hand. Will be back”

The food is fragrant, flavoured and well presented. Hussain, Tayef, Samin will go through the menu and offer their recommendations to suit your pallete. I would highly recommend this restaurant as it offer lovely food and atmosphere.”

“Had a great visit here. Food was really nice, served hot, tasted great and was good value for money. Nice drinks selection and not overly priced like a lot of places. The service made our visit though. Charlotte our waitress was fantastic. She was happy, smiley, polite and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. She even came back after we had our meals to ensure everything was OK. The restaurant was busy and she was running round all over the place ( a great employee, just what a busy pub needs). “We had our staff team meal last week and have been to the New Albion several times since it has changed management. We’ve had various meals, particularly enjoying the lamb, steak, loaded fries and chicken feast. This has been the place my family have been going for years, back to the original Albion days. It took a serious dip as the Cook House but since Stephen & Jake have taken over, it’s regained its atmosphere and charm. I approached Stephen about supporting Halton Cancer Support, a local charity and he was very eager to get involved. He sought opinion and support from the public and began to create a relationship with our work, supporting our annual 5K event. They couldn’t do enough to help and support us. They elevated our event, extending it into the evening, attracting new supporters for our charity and new customers in their lovely pub. We’ve enjoyed great food and drinks every time we’ve been. This has lead to me booking for a party of 18 near to Christmas and my family are booked in for Christmas Day lunch. I don’t think we would have engaged as a charity or returned as a family without the warmth and friendliness of Stephen, Jake, and their team. Thank you for bringing some joy back to an old Widnes favourite, and for bringing it back to life with your own added sparkle.”

“This is the best Greene King I’ve been to. It’s just had a massive refurb and looks very modern. It has a big TV wall with the match on the big screen. Next to it on the smaller TVs next to it with sky sports news so you can monitor the other matches at the same time. It has a fab dart board also that adds up your scores automatically. Toilets are spotless. My first meal here was burger and chips and it was fresh with some lovely sea salt on my chips. I was on lemonade and it was nice and tasty! Fully recommend this place and it has a nice size car park to make it easy to drive there. Monday nights is Speed Quizzing which is great fun, free to play and you can win a gift card as well.”
