“I didn’t have much hope after reading the reviews for Wigan CAMHS, but I want to share a more positive experience to give others hope. After my 9-year-old son began experiencing excessive panic attacks and palpitations, our GP advised us to go to A&E. But my son is a germophobe, and after waiting four hours in Bolton A&E, we were told it would be another five hours just to be seen by CAMHS. For his mental well-being, we had to leave. I feared we’d be lost in the system again—but to my surprise, we were given a telephone consultation and then an in-person assessment by CAMHS within 10 days. That’s when we met Catherine Gale, who was nothing short of a godsend. Within 20 minutes of meeting my son, she gently asked if he’d ever been assessed for autism after just 20 minutes of talking to him! He hasn’t been diagnosed, though we’ve been under the paediatrician since he was two due to his quirks. Catherine made me feel seen—as a parent who’s been struggling with her sons OCD, anxiety, panic attacks, and possible autism for seven long years with no support. More importantly, she saw my son. She spoke to him with genuine kindness and respect, and I think that allowed him to unmask, even just a little. Yes, the NHS is stretched and CAMHS is under immense pressure, but in just six months, they’ve done more for our family than the past seven years with the Wigan paediatric team. I’m so grateful—and I hope others find the help and compassion we did.”

“I recently completed advanced dermal filler training with Paige and would 100% recommend. The training was extremely thorough and covered everything I needed. Paige is very patient and knowledgeable. The training was 1-1 and provided me with lots of experience and models. There was also lots of nice touches throughout, including a gorgeous goodie bag and flowers, which was very thoughtful (thank you). “Sarah and her team were amazing so welcoming and kind. The clinic offer a wide variety of help, I don't specifically have foot pain but more knee pain but when I went into my appointment sarah was very helpful on my problem and didn't want to just give me a quick fix which wouldn't benefit me long term. She explained in depth what the problem was and what I could to to help the cause and two months later I no longer have any pain after struggling with knee pain since I was 10 ( im 18 now ). I would definetly recommened and great value for money :)”

“Saw my dog as a same day emergency when he was unable to walk and in a lot of pain, my pets weren’t under their care at the time. My own vets wouldn’t see us for two weeks but Medivet billinge fit us in and were excellent. Have since moved both my dogs here and have seen my nervous / vet aggressive dog a couple of times as an emergency and are very patient, caring and flexible.”
