“Went with a friend last night for the 1st time. Staff really friendly and welcoming. Good selection of dishes on the menu, veggie options good as well. The highlight for me was sticky toffee pudding. They have a 25% off your food bill during the week at the moment, so well worth a visit.”

“Went to this hidden gem for a meal after some drinks and I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food. Between the 3 off us we got the hot meze platter and that was a meal on it's own... a wide selection of meats and hot food I.e halloumi bites all tasted fresh and very good Then we each ordered a different kebab, I got a mixture of 3 chicken,lamb, and a spicy sausage variety (see the photo) cannot fault it ended up taking it home in a doggy bag for tea the next day as I was so full and it tasted as good the next day. The portion sizes are huge and the food is 5*, the staff were friendly and polite will definitely be going again in the future.”

“Absolutely magical! We stayed for ages and the pianist stayed with us the whole time, even though we were the only ones there! I had the a wild mushroom risotto and it was fantastic. The starter freshly baked warm bread with tomato, olive oil, salt and pepper was to die for as well! Definitely recommend it. A magical evening I won't forget.”

“Called in on the off chance as we were early for a meeting so decided to get some food and drinks. We were greeted by a young lady who asked if we had a booking a first for a little high st cafe. I assume it gets busy as they serve afternoon tea. I was also pleantly surprised of the hygiene it didn't smell of cooking fat at all and all the surfaces were spotless no greasy residue. Layout was light and airy with great spacing between tables so you was not on top of other customers like a lot of small cafes. The decor was nice and the pastel colours of light pinks made for a relaxing experience and the ceiling was adorned with bunting again very clean for a cafe. The menu catered for all tastes and diet requirements vegan veggie and carnivores all catered for. There is a lot of choice from English breakfast of varying sizes, burgers, lasagne etc and the soup of the day looked amazing "bubble n squeak soup" I do wish I had tried some it looked really good but I opted a full english as the menu mentioned locally sourced free range eggs and I was quiet hungry. The standard breakfast had 1 bacon 1 sausage 1 perfectly cooked oranges yolked egg beans in a ramakin grilled tomato toast a hash brown and we got extra black pudding accompanied with a pot of tea for 2. Top quality ingredients bacon tasted like back back should I never noticed and fat on it sausage was tasty no of those herb just a decent pork sausage again not fat or gristle. I would have preferred a tinned tomato but it wasn't a big deal. Good pot of twinings English tea and a little pot of milk. On of the best breakfast if tasted in a long while keep up the good work great staff. Deffo worth a visit if your in the area”

“Went on Saturday night greeted by Sam shown to our table and it won’t disappoint loved the private wine selection Sam knows her wines, let’s get to the food Chateaubriand with Lobster Thermidor was just WOW fillet steak was cooked to perfection lobster amazing, Sauternes wine with sticky Toffee pudding perfect match and a lovely glass of port to top it all off. Staff and the service was faultless a must visit Restaurant tucked away in Irby. We will see you again very soon.”

“This is one of the many good Indian Restaurants/Takeaways in the local area. Saying that, Zeera is absolutley one of the best. Both takeaway and dining in, is brilliant. The takeaway is easy to order over the phone, and is always either made to a time selected by yourself, or if given a time to collect, it is near enough always ready to collect. Further to that you get a 15% discount which makes it a really good option. Dining in, is also pleasant. The staff here are always dressed smartly and are friendly. The food is always tasty, consistent and the atmosphere is nice. Zeera has been around for years, and is highly recommended.”

“After watching a review online we decided to give the Wednesday banquette a go and wasn’t disappointed! The food was amazing , maybe the best curry I’ve had in a while (luhari karahi) it was fresh , the naan bread must be made to order as it was piping hot and crispy , not heavy at all ! You can bring your own alcohol but the red wine was less than £10 a bottle! Great value for money Will definitely be coming back !”

“I went to the Wirral Tandoori yesterday (29/09/25) for the first time in ages, as I no longer live in the area. The manager and staff were warm and welcoming, making me feel like I’d never been away. The food, as always, was absolutely delicious. The chicken pathia in particular was outstanding — without doubt the best I’ve ever tasted — perfectly balanced with a rich depth of flavour and a lovely lemon zing that lifted the whole dish. It reminded me exactly why the Wirral Tandoori has always been a favourite: great service, fantastic food, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes the journey back more than worthwhile.”
