“What an amazing place. Extremely busy and we visited on a Monday night. We booked as we were a group of six and I am glad I did as the wait was 90mins or more. It's clear why this place is busy, the food is fantastic and the service is good. We ordered mains with rice and naan, along with small plates and shared amongst us.”

“I had a fantastic experience at Chaska Indian Restaurant in Edinburgh. The food was absolutely delicious – full of authentic flavours and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, making it a perfect place to enjoy a meal. A special mention to Raj and Kiran, who provided amazing service throughout – they were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. “The owner greets you upon entering then will proceed to seat you and provide you with a menu. Soon after he will come back to take your drinks order. After drinks a different server came to take our food order. I had a pizza and it was absolutely delicious. I tried their special menu ravioli and it was amazing just like the pizza. The drinks were good and it was a bar so had alcohol. I also had a tiramisu which was a really good dessert. I would really recommend going to this Italian restaurant if you want Italian food.”

“My brother and I actually visited twice last week such was the quality of the food and service. I tempt fate about once a year and go for a vindaloo, it was superb. My brother had the mixed grill selection and all was beautifully cooked and flavoured. We had a starter selection in advance and all was tasty. A couple of Gurkha beers too just for research purposes! The 2 waiters were most friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend.”

“Absolutely outstanding meal at Bruntons restaurant , Stobbs Mill Inn! Emily, our waitress, was friendly, attentive, and made the afternoon extra special. The Peking Duck was perfectly cooked, the Bruschetta fresh and flavorful, and the prawn cocktail was a classic done right. We finished with a heavenly Eton Mess — light, sweet, and delicious. Five stars all round!”

“Visited Paolozzi Cafe and had a truly wonderful experience! There was live music - Sophie and Angus was performing, and her voice was absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere was warm and vibrant, perfect for a relaxing evening. We also really enjoyed the cocktails and the cider - both were delicious. The head waiter and staff were amazing, they couldn't do enough for you. We had the anniversary tasting menu, and it was superb, not one dish could we find fault with. My daughter even said it was the best meal she ever had. Highly recommend to anyone.”

“It’s such a magical place. The moment we walked in, we could smell roses - it was so pleasant & instantly set the mood. There were roses on every table, which felt like a small but really meaningful detail that I absolutely loved. I really appreciate places that care about those little things, and it’s nice to know I’m not the only one who does:) There was no main lighting, just candles and a few small lamps at the bar, which made everything feel calm & intimate. The wooden furniture & nice paintings on the walls added to this kind of historical, yet cozy vibe. And the food… just incredible♥️ Scottish Breakfast and banana bread — so delicious. Highly recommend this place. Lovely staff as well! Totally my favorite✨”

“Came here for pudding!! Really wanted a sundae and they did not disappoint!! Shame we had already had dinner as the menu sounded amazing for steak!!! So many different pudding options, we went for chocolate sundae and Eaton mess! 10/10 for delivery! Staff were super friendly and super passionate!!! Definitely try the sundaes! Also you need to publish the menu on the website/online!”

“My friend and I were there Sun 20/7 and, as always, the food was excellent & the staff were fantastic. There are some new staff and it's great to see them working well with the more experienced one's. A special call out to the lady who uncorked the red wine early for my friend, just a lovely, friendly & super efficient person! And to Francesca, thank you for all your help with my dairy free! My friend & I visit Cibo a few times a year and it's consistently excellent overall. Happy to give 5 stars everywhere.”

“If you are looking for the closest thing to tasting fresh pasta while sitting in a restaurant in Venice- this is it! We have tried a number of Italian joints across the globe and this is as close to sitting in Italy as you can get. From the caprese and vegetable soup (soup of the day) as a starter, to the carbonara or ragu for mains, down to the pistachio cakes and tiramisu- you can do no wrong for anything on the menu. It’s a family owned restaurant and you can tell the pride they take with every meal. Make a reservation to avoid being turned away (we got lucky when a last minute table opened up- even waiting 15min outside). It’s worth the entire wait. You won’t regret it.”

“First time here and I'm so pleased with the food and service! We were unaware that they had a limited menu for lunch, so we chose from what was available. Yet, the service size and flavors did not disappoint! My husband and I both chose the same dish. I can’t eat potatoes and asked if they could change them for one of the side dishes, and they did at no extra charge. I was very pleased with the flavors, my husband too, and the overall experience. The prices are very reasonable! The building inside is pretty with some rock walls (they seem to be real rocks) and they simple yet nice decoration. The two boys working today were very attentive and always checking that things were okay. They advised my husband on a drink he wanted to have, too. We would be happy to go back when in Edinburgh again. We would try to go for dinner, though, so we could try different dishes.”

“This charming and comfortable restaurant inside the Scotch Whisky Experience is a wonderful place. Staff are friendly and welcoming, and service throughout our dinner was exceptional. Both my husband and I got a 2-course meal. We started with the sea trout, which was very fresh and perfectly cooked. It was served with a potato cake, and fresh peas with fennel and a lovely white sauce. The dish was beautifully composed and presented. My husband had a 15-year-old whiskey, while I had lovely craft whiskey cocktail. For dessert, I had the chocolate whiskey tart and my husband had the sticky toffee pudding. Both were excellent. A perfect dining experience.”

“Truly Indian! Request to the management: Whatever happens don't change the chefs! One of the finest and best restaurants offering Indian cuisine as exactly as India. The first bite itself will bring back life to the buried desi in you. I've tried so many Indian restaurant in Dublin and London but this is simply The Best! Ordered achari naan, garlic chili paneer, chicken tikka and mushroom rice. All three are wholesome and must try and amazed by the long list of options available for vegetarians! Price and reasonable and quantity are enough for a single person. Great ambience and super friendly staff members. You can enjoy a great meal along with vintage Bollywood songs playing in the background.”

“The Thai Valley Restaurant has become our favourite go-to restaurant over recent months. The Thai food is excellent, and with easy ground floor access, it should be accessible to most people. Our favourite starter, a sharing platter for two, served with crispy spring rolls, chicken satay, fish cakes, and crispy chicken, is beautifully presented and tastes delicious. The Tom Yum soup (we order it with shrimp) has just the right level of spiciness. Our current favourite main course is the deep-fried sea bass with sweet and sour sauce. I have no hesitation in recommending the Thai Valley Restaurant for your next Thai food treat.”

“WOW. Just WOW. I haven't had food this good in a while, I personally ordered the BBQ pork burger w/ an IRN BRU, and OH MY GOSH, that was GOOD. So much flavour, the chips were cooked perfectly. They had all sorts of condiments on the table. Don't get me started on the view, that was a lovely view looking over Edinburgh and it's historical buildings. A friend ordered a pizza, and they said it was very good too, so amazing food overall! I am very impressed, I will definitely try to go again next time I'm up here, Absolutely amazing overall❤️”
