“Despite all the brilliant reviews, I had an impression that this would be a slightly cheesy place because of the name and all the ‘coq’ puns. I couldn’t have been more wrong! It’s a very cool, intimate atmosphere with vibey music and lovely staff. The food was incredible - both the veggie and chicken options - and generous portions. We didn’t have room for pudding so took home a little tiramisu, which is also homemade. Super impressed, and we will be regulars - but please please open a branch in Devizes :-)”

If only I could bring the American BBQ spare ribs back to Perth, Western Australia I would not hesitate to do so.”

The cheese board also has a great selection of cheeses, and they give you a mountain of crackers. The staff were also lovely and attentive. Went with 5 friends and lovely to have round table. 5 diff meals and all delicious - linguine, 2x risotto, chicken, pork. 4 cheesecakes and 1 tiramisu to follow - all so light and fluffy. “Easy to miss from the outside, and not much to see on the inside, the whole focus of Casa is on food and service. And both are fantastic, I must say. We went for the 65GBP menu, and by then end of it where neither hungry nor disappointed. Expect plenty of food, and the dish quality was fantastic all through the meal. My favourite was probably the lion mane mushroom in panko and the sirloin, but honestly, there weren't any weak dishes.”

“We booked the Olive Tree for a family celebration for 28 people. The food and service was excellent throughout. The whole of the downstairs was reserved for us. We had a number of special requests including a member of the group who was severely coeliac. The attention to detail from Louise and Petra to ensure that all requirements were met was excellent. The food was high quality and the meal was good value for money. I would recommend the Olive Tree without hesitation.”

Silly me forgot to take a picture of them before stuffing as smelt and looked so good. Main courses came out and were so big value for money great flavours in the lasagne the seafood lingie what can I say the flavours were out of this world very big prawns. “100% recommended! Visited there for a lunch of a Sunday with 8 friends. The place was very well kept and the ambiance was quite nice. There were a lot of food and beverage options. Staff was very kind and attentive and the food arrived within around 15 minutes after ordering. All the dishes we tried were very good and had distinctive Flavours. Portion sizes were very filling too! Clean toilets, ample space, choice of seating etc. Would not hesitate to go there again”

“Lovely Afternoon Tea Experience in the Heart of Bath We visited this location for Afternoon Tea and had a really beautiful experience. We arrived around 2:30 PM and were lucky to catch a live piano concert, which added an elegant touch to the atmosphere. The standard Afternoon Tea menu was around £100 for two people, which felt fair considering the amount of food included. There is plenty to eat — definitely more sweet than savoury — but everything was fresh and nicely presented. The service was very kind and attentive, and the interior is absolutely charming. One of the highlights is the back rooms, where the walls display the history of the place and its connection to the Roman Baths. It’s actually linked to the Pump Room, and if you choose to visit the Pump Room and then the Roman Baths afterwards, you can skip the main queue, which is a great bonus. Overall, if you’re visiting Bath and want a traditional Afternoon Tea in a beautiful and historic setting, I definitely recommend this place.”

“We were on business nearby and wanted coffee and a breakfast roll. The local Tesco does not have a cafe and there was nothing else we could find except this. It's the restaurant inside a caravan/chalet park and it's up a rickety road but well worth it. They are happy to serve non residents and the coffee was excellent. Good start to the day”
