“Despite all the brilliant reviews, I had an impression that this would be a slightly cheesy place because of the name and all the ‘coq’ puns. I couldn’t have been more wrong! It’s a very cool, intimate atmosphere with vibey music and lovely staff. The food was incredible - both the veggie and chicken options - and generous portions. We didn’t have room for pudding so took home a little tiramisu, which is also homemade. Super impressed, and we will be regulars - but please please open a branch in Devizes :-)”

“A wonderful place to have a sumptuous lunch. We had the carrots with honey salad, Jamaican smoked sausage and Roman pork belly and they all tasted real yummy. Nice couple running the place. If only I could bring the American BBQ spare ribs back to Perth, Western Australia I would not hesitate to do so.”

“Incredible! Went for our anniversary... and it was superb! We've been to Michelin Star Restaurants before that haven't even come close to Muse... 4 cocktails, 5 dishes, plus a bottle of wine, everything a delight with complete attention to detail. They also chucked in a Amuse-bouche and when they realised it was our anniversary a surprise sweet dish at the end... pictured. Go Here!”

“Amazing food! I had the scallops, then duck, and then the chocolate ganache to finish - all dishes were very delicious and cooked well. The cheese board also has a great selection of cheeses, and they give you a mountain of crackers. The staff were also lovely and attentive. Will definitely be recommending this restaurant to everyone!”

“Mugshot Bristol is honestly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in the city. The whole concept of cooking your own steak on a sizzling hot stone is genius — it’s interactive, fun, and the quality of the food is top-tier. The steaks were beautifully tender, and the sides and sauces complemented everything perfectly. The atmosphere is classy but relaxed, with that speakeasy, hidden-gem feel that makes it stand out. The cocktails were expertly made, and the staff were friendly. Lutsie and Haoran were especially attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. It’s the perfect spot for a date night, a special occasion, or just a treat with friends. Every visit feels like an experience, not just a meal. Highly recommend.”

“Exquisite Experience and food lives here. Menu was a valentine menu which might be different from the norms. As a gourmet, I cannot fault all of the food and service that was served to me during my time here. Traveled 1hr30min to dine here and I wasn’t disappointed at all. I shall be back and I deeply recommend.”

“Lovely independent restaurant. Unfussy inside with friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Went with 5 friends and lovely to have round table. 5 diff meals and all delicious - linguine, 2x risotto, chicken, pork. 4 cheesecakes and 1 tiramisu to follow - all so light and fluffy. Seriously good food with great service. Can’t believe I haven’t been before. We will definitely be back.”

“Easy to miss from the outside, and not much to see on the inside, the whole focus of Casa is on food and service. And both are fantastic, I must say. We went for the 65GBP menu, and by then end of it where neither hungry nor disappointed. Expect plenty of food, and the dish quality was fantastic all through the meal. My favourite was probably the lion mane mushroom in panko and the sirloin, but honestly, there weren't any weak dishes.”

“We booked the Olive Tree for a family celebration for 28 people. The food and service was excellent throughout. The whole of the downstairs was reserved for us. We had a number of special requests including a member of the group who was severely coeliac. The attention to detail from Louise and Petra to ensure that all requirements were met was excellent. The food was high quality and the meal was good value for money. I would recommend the Olive Tree without hesitation.”

“Had an amazing lunch here today. After smelling delicious food half way down the road I decided to stop in and give it a try. The food was amazing and worth every penny. The waiters display passion and dedication which I really appreciated. Sitting near the bar and watching the bartender carefully make and serve drinks was a delight. I highly suggest attending this warm and welcoming restaurant!”

“100% recommended! Visited there for a lunch of a Sunday with 8 friends. The place was very well kept and the ambiance was quite nice. There were a lot of food and beverage options. Staff was very kind and attentive and the food arrived within around 15 minutes after ordering. All the dishes we tried were very good and had distinctive Flavours. Portion sizes were very filling too! Clean toilets, ample space, choice of seating etc. Would not hesitate to go there again”

“We took my parents to the Elder for a very belated Christmas present and it was a fantastic evening in so many ways: some of the best food we’ve ever had combined with very attentive but relaxed service with a smile. We thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish and felt very well looked after. Every course felt like a treat. We look forward to returning sometime soon.”

“We walked in as a table of six without a booking and they were so lovely and was able to seat us. We got served quickly, our food arrived hot and quick! And we were checked on often and kept topped up with drinks. The food itself was spectacular, the best Italian we as a collective had had. 100% recommend it’s such a chill and cozy place, can’t wait to come back!”

“Lovely Afternoon Tea Experience in the Heart of Bath We visited this location for Afternoon Tea and had a really beautiful experience. We arrived around 2:30 PM and were lucky to catch a live piano concert, which added an elegant touch to the atmosphere. The standard Afternoon Tea menu was around £100 for two people, which felt fair considering the amount of food included. There is plenty to eat — definitely more sweet than savoury — but everything was fresh and nicely presented. The service was very kind and attentive, and the interior is absolutely charming. One of the highlights is the back rooms, where the walls display the history of the place and its connection to the Roman Baths. It’s actually linked to the Pump Room, and if you choose to visit the Pump Room and then the Roman Baths afterwards, you can skip the main queue, which is a great bonus. Overall, if you’re visiting Bath and want a traditional Afternoon Tea in a beautiful and historic setting, I definitely recommend this place.”

“I enjoyed a meal alone while working away in Bristol. It’s clear to see why they have such wonderful reviews; when they serve incredible quality ingredients prepared expertly to create a delicious dish. The menu is concise and seasonal, featuring a selection of small plates and not so small plates. The wine list is comprehensive and very reasonably priced. Service is extremely friendly - I can’t wait to come back again!”

“Very friendly club. Some tight narrow fairways, but the greens are very good. Generally drains well, so more often than not the course tends to be open throughout the year. And I got a hole in one. Nothing to do with me, it's all down to the course and helpful professionals!”

“We were on business nearby and wanted coffee and a breakfast roll. The local Tesco does not have a cafe and there was nothing else we could find except this. It's the restaurant inside a caravan/chalet park and it's up a rickety road but well worth it. They are happy to serve non residents and the coffee was excellent. Good start to the day”
