“We had a a delightfully delicious lunch today at Juniper. The food was cooked to perfection for both of our meals with lovely flavours. We were so impressed we are looking forward to celebrating our Golden Wedding anniversary later on in the year with our family of foodies, but will obviously visit again before then. Particular favourite of mine was the pork belly which was tender and so tasty. It was nice to meet the talented chef at our table and Rob made our experience very comfortable with the right amount of welcome, service and information. A great introduction to this little gem. “I would give more stars if I could! Me and my husband got a cosy table for two on a busy Saturday night. We loved the music and the restaurant smelled amazing. The first thing I noticed is how friendly and attentive the staff were. We ordered the platter for two and the bread which came as a started was out of this world fresh tasting and fluffy. The meat was juicy and seasoned to perfection which left me thinking about eating it every day. I honestly think this place is my new favourite restaurant and will be going back often. We ordered desert, baklava with ice-cream. The portions were perfect and service was quick and effortless. We both had a really positive experience so thank you to all the staff, front and back of house.”

“Top Class restaurant without the high end prices. Absolutely delicious food, can't fault it and I'm fussy and a traine chef. Full of flavour, great portions. Staff even when restaurant was extremely busy very polite, attentive, service with a huge smile every time. Extremely sparkling clean . Wonderful atmosphere. Can't wait to go back. “Amazing food and wonderful staff. Restaurant is lovely. Marking atmosphere as 4* only due to how loud it was (which is to be expected) but I'm sensitive to noise and it affected my experience. Can't fault the staff, they were perfect. Whoever was working 5th Aug in the evening are awesome.”

“Cannot praise Casa Carlos enough. Right from being greeted by the lovely Sophia the atmosphere was second to none. Feeling relaxing, comfortable and at home it took me back to my many times abroad visiting tapas bars certainly could have been anywhere but Wigan Town centre. We were offered drinks then later ordered our food at no time did we feel rushed and our personal requests were taken into consideration with no fuss. Oh my days the food was delicious and presented so well and good portions compliments to Callum the chef perfection on a plate! Deserts were delicious almost too nice to eat as they were presented so well. As we wrapped up our dining experience we all agreed we would definately be returning . “Really enjoyed the food here. They really know their way round a grill here, all the meats were seasoned differently, the lamb and chicken were both cooked perfectly. Everything left me wanting more. The oreo dessert thing is maybe the nicest pudding I’ve had, I would fight my partner for it if I had too, and she’s actually a lovely woman so I wouldn’t usually fight her.”

“Had a fantastic meal at Posthouse in Orrell recently. The ribs were genuinely some of the best I’ve had—perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and falling off the bone. You can tell they take care with the preparation. Pairing them with their freshly made mojitos was spot on—the drinks were balanced, refreshing, and not overloaded with sugar like you find in some places. The atmosphere was relaxed but stylish, and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. Overall, a great spot if you’re after quality food and drinks at reasonable prices. “Absolutely amazing and quality food. Highly recommend the burgers, any are superb and especially the sweet chili chicken bites....wow!!!! I could just eat loads of those. Delivery is decent for timing, never had an issue and arrives as close to the time as possible, (astong traffic is terrible) but they live up to expectations. Never been inside so I cant rate for the service but I am sure its great.”

“Lovely little place. Welcoming atmosphere. Food is great and plenty drinks to choose from. This place is situated right by Orrell Water Park so what better way to finish your walk than with a nice visit to the Robin Hood. They also have plenty seating outside.”

“Visited here on a Sunday afternoon. We where looking for something spacious with the current pandemic and we weren't disappointed. It was relatively quiet surprisingly, and very spacious. My mum uses an electric wheelchair which was easily accommodated. You have to use the side door as there is a step accessing a lovely beer garden. This wasn't a problem for us as she can walk short distances and we where close to the door so she could still go outside to smoke once we had been seated. We where sat by the pass so got to inspect much of the food as it was being taken out, everything looked amazing. The staff where welcoming and service was quick, we had our drinks within minutes of arriving and food didn't seem to take too long either. We both opted for burgers, although once we saw the Sunday roasts agreed to try them next time. I had a chicken burger and honestly one of the nicest I've had. The chicken was cooked perfectly. My mum enjoyed her hamburger aswell, clearly all fresh ingredients. Definitely our new pub lunch place.”
