“I dine here with a friend at least once a week and we absolutely love it. The staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble. We have breakfast most visits and they are freshly cooked to order. This week we have thoroughly enjoyed their festive menu with different people (twice). Excellent food, piping hot and very reasonably priced. They have an extensive menu and they cater for most people’s taste/preferences. They are happy for my friends dog to accompany us and the fact that many of their customers are regulars tells you everything. We were thrilled to see donkeys, goats, ferrets, and bunnies. All the animals are lovely and well-cared for. The farm is well-organized and offers various activities suitable for families. Although the café was closed during our visit, it’s usually available and offers delicious homemade food. We enjoyed exploring the nature trails and learning about sustainable farming practices. Parking was convenient and easily accessible. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, providing interesting information about the animals and the farm’s mission. For those planning a visit, I recommend wearing comfortable footwear as the ground can be uneven. It’s also a good idea to bring a waterproof jacket if visiting during the wetter months. Overall, we had a great time and look forward to visiting again soon. Greenslate Community Farm is a wonderful place to connect with nature and learn about farming in a fun and engaging way.”

“We have been waiting for a place to go to have a coffee and a teacake, the food is amazing, not got hrough the whole menu yet, as is the coffee, its so relaxed and comfortable with plenty of comfy places to sit. As soon as you walk through the door you are greated with the most helpfull and kind staff, they cant do enough for you, . They always make you feel welcome, everyone talks to you and makes sure everything is as it should be. Its also good to see the manager is always about and be able to have a chat. All the staff are amazing, food amazing great atmosphere. Well done.”
