“We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times now with our 3 children and had a wonderful experience. Staff are friendly and very helpful and the family rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The staff have always gone above and beyond to try and grant our request to have a ground floor room to help us with pram access. We look forward to booking again soon x”

“This was the best Chinese meal we have had in a long time. The food was not only hot and very fresh but absolutely delicious. With so many restaurants to choose from these days, it can be hard to suss out the good from the bad. I can definitely recommend Mr Wang and his staff (if indeed there is a Mr Wang) for a wonderful meal in a very convivial atmosphere. (Ladies, do you like the hand-basins in the loo? Maybe the boys have them too but I really liked the decor!) We had complimentary prawn crackers served with a plum dipping sauce on the table whilst we chose our food. Crispy chicken slivers in a chilli and honey sauce, crispy duck in plum sauce, a side of plain noodles and egg fried rice complemented this. The portion sizes are very generous and our meal could easily have fed three people adequately. Wait till you see the bill! Having been used to overpriced Chinese meals in the past I couldn’t get over the one we had. Cannot beat this place. Great food. Friendly staff. Loved it!”

“Wigan Nando’s is probably one of the best Nando’s I’ve been through the years. Staff are always friendly, in true Nando’s fashion get asked if the food is alright with a mouthful. Always a speedy service whether it’s eat in or takeaway, very clean and kept tidy. Also having an allergy it’s reassuring that the manager takes the order and the food prepared separately.”

“Best curry I've had in Wigan and full of flavour. I've ordered as a delivery and it came within 40 minutes. The food was great, flavour was great and couldn't fault it. We ordered it for tea the next night as well. Definitely going to go back for a third night!”

“2 night stay with my 2 cats was amazing reception women was so nice and professional. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The shower is amazing!! “great initiative, this. just got two bulging bags of shopping for twenty-odd quid, including some suncream and razors which would cost at least a tenner on their own these days. there's always been a really good selection of produce here, either for your everyday basics like veg and bread and cupboard bits, or little snacky items that perhaps you wouldn't usually venture to. they've always had a really excellent selection of freezer pies that are great to have in, plus some things that you wouldn't really expect like baby food, health food items, gluten free stuff, vegetarian items... all very much worth a look! staff are very friendly and helpful, free parking, and you can grab a toastie when you're done. can't say fairer than that, really. huge asset to the community!”

“Cannot praise Casa Carlos enough. Right from being greeted by the lovely Sophia the atmosphere was second to none. Feeling relaxing, comfortable and at home it took me back to my many times abroad visiting tapas bars certainly could have been anywhere but Wigan Town centre. We were offered drinks then later ordered our food at no time did we feel rushed and our personal requests were taken into consideration with no fuss. Oh my days the food was delicious and presented so well and good portions compliments to Callum the chef perfection on a plate! Deserts were delicious almost too nice to eat as they were presented so well. As we wrapped up our dining experience we all agreed we would definately be returning .
