“Lovely evening at Eden for husband’s birthday. Bright, airy & modern. Food excellent with plenty of choice. Tableware & glasses really nice. Staff were very helpful and friendly but still professional. Brought out cake and candles and even sang Happy Birthday . 1st visit but definitely not our last. Highly recommended. “I recently visited Il Capitano’s Restaurant along with the attached Bar Bolina, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience from start to finish. The pizzas were the standout—fresh, flavourful, and generously sized, all at a very reasonable price. It’s rare to find a place that delivers both quality and value so consistently, but Il Capitano’s really does. The atmosphere across both the restaurant and the bar is warm and welcoming, made even better by the genuinely friendly staff. Everyone we interacted with was attentive and upbeat, helping create a relaxed and enjoyable evening for our whole group. A special mention has to go to Evie, who looked after us exceptionally well. She was attentive without being intrusive, quick to help with anything we needed, and made sure our group felt completely taken care of. Her service truly elevated the experience. Overall, Il Capitano’s and Bar Bolina are well worth a visit—great food, great prices, and great people. Highly recommended.”

“Had a brilliant night celebrating my sister's 60th birthday and my daughters. The staff were attentive and sangria flowed along with the chat, laughs and food. As we were there for birthday celebrations, the girls were treated to birthday cake(cheesecake) topped with a large sparkler, hats, music and singing waiters. A fabulous night out with the girls.”

“The BEST fish and chips in Crosby/Waterloo. Seriously, I cannot stress how good their fish and chips actually is. HUGE fish portion, great chips, and great range of other Chinese dishes with quite a lot of veggie options if you ask them.”

“Brew is a truly fantastic Cafe right on the main road running through Crosby. It is home of some of the best food AND coffee in the area! The decor is Brew is lovely, and produces a chilled out atmosphere whilst also allowing lots of space for tables. On busier days there may be a wait, but generally speaking you'll be seated straight away. The food is amazing! It's prepared perfectly, there's a good variety, and everything is reasonably priced. There's also a great kids menu (and great deal associated with it) and lots of sweet indulgences for dessert. The coffee here is spectacular. It has a great flavour and it's one of the few places around that really pay attention to their latte art which I really appreciate. The staff are super friendly and are always smiling. There's one dark haired girl in particular who always welcomes us with a smile and it repeatedly sets things off right. Service is always great throughout. Highchairs (and even a little kids play area!) are available, and there's on street parking right outside, but only if you're lucky!”

“Great friendly customer service, who looked after our bags before being able to check in, and took them up to our room for us. Clean room, comfy beds, curtains very good, heating worked well, newly fitted bathroom and a delicious breakfast to top it off!”
