“This little gem was an amazing find Hosted a Baby Shower here on Saturday and cannot express how accommodating The staff were. Dan was very flexible and encouraged us to decorate, provide a playlist that he played through the function room sound system, he allowed us to go in early before the booking to decorate too. There is plenty room for a sit down occasion or a full disco/dj party. A back door leads out to the garden and a separate area too. The room has plenty of sockets and a bar, buffet food is an option too. Had an amazing time and everyone complimented on the venue and how quaint, country-feel yet quirky it was. Perfect, Thank you !”

“Great venue in a large "wedding tent" a tad cold, but good sound from the stage. The toilets are clean. Beer options are totally acceptable but not for me as driving.”

Julie made me feel at ease placing my order. She let me know she would be washing the jug and gave me a full disclaimer. “I visited Costa Coffee in Chislehurst last Wednesday—had a great coffee and got some work done on my laptop. I've been here several times, and it’s always a calm, friendly place. One of my favorite spots in one of the nicest areas of London!”

“I recently held a wake for my late mother at The Queen’s Head, and I cannot praise the team enough. From start to finish, the staff were incredibly attentive, compassionate, and professional. They truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly during such an emotional time. The food was outstanding—beautifully presented, full of flavour, and served in generous portions. There was a fantastic variety, and it was all so well received by our guests—it disappeared in no time! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff made everyone feel comfortable and cared for. I wholeheartedly recommend The Queen’s Head to anyone looking for a venue to host a wake or any special gathering. “The Bulls head go above and beyond to make your every run as smooth as possible Amy and Jane are incredible. Food is amazing stuff are so helpful and polite would thoughly recommend for any event. We had our engagement party there, my 50th I have been to christening parties and now my friend just had her hen party there. The hotel is absolutely stunning. The rooms are amazing.”

“Very Friendly service and nice relaxing atmosphere with delicious food, dessert and drinks. Our table was regularly checked to see if everything was okay and everyone was very attentive even though the place got busy very quickly with many regular guests. We also met the owner and his wonderful wife who made sure they visited every table and greeted the guest to see if everything was ok… it’s wonderful to see how much they care and appreciate their guests. Definitely worth a Revisit and try the Gurkha 660ml Beer.”

“The lager was brilliant, ended up spending like a hundred quid but it was worth it. The inside looks old but unique and the outside seating is very spacious too. Nice beer garden with various decorations as well.”

“This is hands down the best salon in Chiselhurst …all of the staff are super friendly and kind, and they’re all very good at what they do. You can tell when someone enjoys their job and these women definitely do and it shows through there work. They go above and beyond for elderly customers which I think is very admirable and are even very well trained to work on children’s nails… I have on several occasions brought my elderly mother and my youngest daughter whose 7 to the salon and we have all gotten our nails done and everytime they come out perfect. My daughter knows all the girls names and constantly asks when we can go back lol. I’ve had massages , facials, eyebrows just about everything done here and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Keep doing an amazing job girls.❤️ The salon itself is always clean and warm and even the cups that they serve hot drinks in are spotless which you don’t get in many salons these days! These girls are always doing something and I just want them to all know how much we as a family appreciate them❤️”

“One of the best Chinese restaurants in Orpington. We ordered Tofu, and it was delicious, literally melting. The Pork and Chicken was really nice, it was recommended by the staff. The staff is really friendly. A reasonably priced restaurant must visit.”

“Father's Day lunch here today. Through no fault of their own they were understaffed but the team did a fantastic job of picking up the slack and looking after their customers. Food was excellent (highly recommend the triple roast and the smoked salmon and fennel salad) and we will be returning. Service by Dee was first class. Thank you!!”

“Went last night for family pre Christmas meal. Lovely relaxing atmosphere, very pleasant staff. Nice menu, good wine list. The meal was excellent , the portion sizes generous, my stuffed chicken masala just melted in your mouth. We went midweek at 7pm and it was lovely & quiet so we were able to have a nice leisurely catch up.This is definitely a restaurant that I want to go back to.”

“Wrattens Caffe is a true hidden gem of Chislehurst High Street. In fact, it is so well hidden at the back of a clothing shop (not a bad one either by the way!) that only a few locals are aware of its existence and visit regularly. I've been delighted being one of these few for years, but this morning, enjoying an amazing chicken and bacon melt toastie with some great coffee, I felt rather sad that your typically blunt and tired Costa next door was booming with visitors, while only a few tables were taken at homey and delicious Wrattens. So here you go, time for my best-kept secret to stop being one. Give yourself the most Chislehurst experience one can think of, visit Wrattens Caffe, have a chat with its loveliest staff, have a walk around the shop while you're waiting for your food to materialize on your table. All that knowing that every penny you leave there supports the community and its people, not Coca-Cola Corp. Why, didn't you know Costa belongs to Cokes? Well, now you do, so turn left on that doorstep, choose Wrattens next time you're around!”

“We hosted our daughter’s 1st Birthday party in the Star’s private function room (a beautiful room). Elle did a fantastic job and ensured that the day ran smoothly! I had a lot of specific asks and requests and Elle did a great job in fulfilling them. Communication from booking to the event itself was great. On the day Elle pre-empted all our needs, the chef was great, food was lovely and the service from the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back for the next big celebration!”
