“It was busy but girls at the reception were so efficient and fast to serve so we don’t had to wait longer. Coffee was great as all the Costa points. Cookies I didn’t like so much but overall good experience. Highly recommended”

“A pleasant coffee stop along the parade of shops in Limpsfield Road. It is bright and spacious inside, and service was friendly and efficient. The wi-fi wasn't working when I went so they couldn't take card payments.”

“Went down for 3 days in Easter holidays and ha really great stay. Landlord was helpful and easy to contact. Flat was really nicely decorated and easy to find. The apartments have gated parking and easy to get into. We kinda struggled with getting out though as found someone had to go outside to open gates then drive out. But we didn't check if easier way of opening carpark gates. Two lifts and wide stairs make for good disability access with ramps to entrance where car park is, and front I remember as being flat or gentle slope. Good signage for flat numbers making getting around inside easy. Window of the lat we stated in had view of carpark so not overlooking any other flats or overlooked.”

“Very convenient to East Croydon Station. Like the flat whites. A bit drafty in winter as some patrons don't bother to shut the door when they leave. (Just avoid sitting right next to the door or dress warmly.)”

“I visit this Cafe Nero often and Alex in particular is always attentive and makes the best coffee he is always super focused when you walk in. Today, I walked in after a long day and got a coffee and a cornflake tart even though he wasn’t the one serving me he let me know that it had alcohol in and the other sweet treat didn’t. He is also very calm and patient when i am indecisive some days which he does not have to be! This level of attentiveness is very rare I really appreciate it. Thanks !”

“Nice and quiet spot if you ever want a chilled meal with friends and family. Reasonable prices for food + the garden area is great in the summer. The mixed grill is good deal is you like steak. And they have plenty of other vegan/veggie alternatives.”

“I’ve been to this branch of Starbucks a couple of times recently and it’s been great. My friend is disabled, so parking is very convenient as there are Blue Badge parking spaces directly outside. Access is easy too. The staff are all friendly and you don’t feel rushed, even when it’s near closing time. One outstanding member of staff we encountered was Elaine, the manager, who is incredibly friendly, warm and kind. She was extremely considerate and helpful towards my friend, who needed to access the toilet. Elaine made sure she could navigate her way to the toilet safely and that there were no obstructions in her way. On our way out, just as the shop was closing, Elaine cheerfully called out to say goodbye, which was a lovely touch. It’s warm, friendly and helpful staff members like Elaine who contribute to a positive experience when visiting a coffee shop. Thank you Elaine. You’re an asset to Starbucks. Update: When I first encountered Elaine, I mistakenly thought she was the cleaner as she was mopping the floor. On my next visit she told me that she was actually the manager and had found my post hugely amusing. This just shows what a wonderful sense of humour Elaine has! It also shows how the manager is prepared to do any task that is required.”

Been multiple times and seen the abuse the staff receive from entitled customers, ignore the 1 star reviews of this place it's just rude people crying because they didn't get their way (stores have rules and policies people!!). “Great Place! We where visiting and some one told us about this Place. We did not have reservations. We did not have to wait long for a table. Food was great and Staff very friendly. Thank you to the Manager ( Andrew). He was sweet and gave us some tips about other things to do while traveling. We really enjoyed there desserts. One is mine... waffles with chocolate & vanilla ice cream, shaved chocolate, and strawberries. The other one is my Husband's ... Banoffee waffles... waffles, banana, toffee/caramel sauce, vanilla ice cream.”

“Was in Croydon for the day, googled for a work friendly cafe and found this gem. Great atmosphere but even better service and friendly staff, the jacket potato packed way more than I bargained for, for £5 for a chilli con-carne and cheese and £2.30 for an Americano. If you’re in the area and need to work make sure to get down here, it’s perfect.”
