The warm welcome lured us in and we were not disappointed. Recommendations for drinks, a very well looked after 9 year old and plates finished. Not residents of London but frequent visitors. “The best meal we have had during this visit. Maybe the best for over 20 years. Very complex dishes with multiple textures. I will be making the oxtail croquettes myself when I get home if I can recreate the crumb. The amazing poached pear dessert is well beyond my skill level.”

“What a lovely and amazing place. The dining rooms are as beautiful as the food. Its however more expensive than a Michelin starred restaurant. £394 for 4 of us. So control the drinking! Loved the litre of sicilian lemonade, reminded me of Glastonbury lemonade carts. My only little gripe, was it was winter, I had a long coat, and the host should have taken our coats as there is only a dirt floor and your coat tails trail in the dust. They eventually came to hang it up in their cloakroom”

“The Afternoon Tea was genuinely faultless from start to finish. It was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. The vegetarian options were superb – particularly the wrap and the tomato/tofu cream. We'll be dreaming of the meringue, eclair and scones for weeks! The staff were so accommodating, attentive and helpful. I'm already looking for another excuse to visit again!”

“Enjoyed lunch today at the Watermans.The food was really excellent and the portions were very generous.The pub has recently been renovated and they have done a really great job on the decor and ambience. We came here under the First Table offer so the meal was excellent value.The staff were delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the gastro pub. “I’m giving this place 5* as I believe the court cafe should be kept open. Many courts no longer have cafes and I think it’s a useful thing to have in a court. However don’t expect very good food! It’s very school dinner canteen. They will do hot drinks though and snacks, cold drinks. The staff are nice enough and there’s places to sit. Probably a lifeline for many people have a hard day in court.”

“This restarant serves authentic Indian cuisine. I love to come here with my friends, hang out and have a delicious Indian curries. My favorite one is Lamb Rogan with garlic naan. The staff are friendly and welcoming.”

“This is such a lovely cafe inside the swimming baths. You can grab a drink from an outside area where you just ring a bell and someone very friendly will come and serve you or if you enter the leisure centre you can go inside the cafe... this also has a nice green outdoor area with family benches if you would like to enjoy some nice weather in summer. The food is really nice! They have loads of variety of food and drink. Very suitable for children, with a children menu to. There is some tv screens that usually has something playing if there is an event e.g Wimbledon. They are really nice and will put on a childs programme if you come in with young children. They have a book table with a variety of books for adults and children to read.”

“By far the best pub in Richmond. We regularly go to the Mitre, as they serve really fresh cask ales that change regularly. They also serve fantastic pizza’s where you can choose your own toppings or have the monthly special. We often get the dough balls as they are the perfect accompaniment to a few pints! Definitely get down there if your in the area!”

“Absolutely incredible Italian restaurant. Every dish was so tasty, loved the music and the service was brilliant. Giuseppe made us feel so welcome and was great with recommendations. The pasta is all freshly made in house and you can really tell because it’s so delicious. The pistachio tiramisu is a must try!! Bottomless brunch is only £20 aswell, such great value; includes bottomless Aperol spritz and prosecco.”

“Stopped by the other day and was blown away! The coffee was outstanding, which is so hard to find in London. Made me feel like I was abroad. Croissants were also spot-on, and the owner was so warm and kind. When you step out of the station, turn right, and it’s about a minute’s walk. The kind of place you go out of your way to visit again!”

“Wonderful little brunch cafe with excellent food and friendly service! The cafe is nice, with a chilled out, relaxed feel to it. Lots of seating in the garden outside and some tables on the street at the front. The food is excellent. Very tasty. Full English was done very well with excellent quality sausages!”
