“Have been eating here since I was a small child although it was the starburger then I believe and I am sure they used to serve Sunday roast and desert. (edit try still do!) :-) Anyway the food is always good and what you would expect from a cafe. Any mistakes are always swiftly rectifies in the rare event there is one. The kids Love eating here and my daughter has asked if she can have a birthday party here. Would always recommend this fabulous family run cafe.”

They even gave me an extra poached egg for free with my brunchfast because they lost a small part of the white on one, which honestly, wasn't even necessary. Good food, Lots of options (Breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinners), friendly staff, and friendly guests too. Will exceed your expectations, hidden off the beaten track.”

“Cosy tea room where you can paninis, sandwiches, beans or egg on toast as well as home made cakes and tea/coffee/herbal teas/cold drinks. The two ladies who run it are friendly and helpful.”

“Really nice pub to have a quick drink of an evening. Finished up at the local football club, and on our walk back we popped in for a post match drink. It wasn't that busy, but we got served almost instantly! The drinks were reasonably priced, and they had a good selection on both tap and in bottles. Also nice to see the venue have a dart board, which also had darts provided by the pub. A lovely touch. Overall, a really nice experience drinking in here and if I'm ever in the area again I would love to come back and enjoy it.”

“We had a great night here ... good food (which for me was a surprise as I'm a veggie and this is a steak restaurant!). Lots on the menu for all tastes including awkward me, our resident gluten free and another with a nut allergy and all our orders were checked to ensure we didn't have a disaster amongst us. It was very reasonably priced; our server was amazing and their service was excellent, attentive and friendly! This was an unexpected gem.. would recommend!”
