“I jumped on the bus going the wrong way to get home from ASDA . When I and the wife jumped off to head the right direction we decided to grab a bite when we saw the Plough. They were only serving Sunday Roast and I am extremely glad . I would have hated to have ordered something else and missed this great dish! Being from Texas there is a certain expectation when it come to cooked beef and this roast didn’t disappoint but you will pay for it. It’s a bit pricey for only 1 piece of beef but the quality was outstanding. I will return for more!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Had not been to this cafe for a while, due to being away. Hasn't lost its touch. Went in a few times this week. Had my usual toast, poached egg and salad. Another time I had spaghetti and another time I had omelette. Lovely food, Nice people, nice atmosphere and good pricing. Thanks selsdon cafe. See you soon.”

“A great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors—sitting in the garden here is always a treat. It’s a very friendly and welcoming spot, made even better by the amazing bartender, Ian. He goes above and beyond to make everyone feel at home, even learning a few words from my native language, which truly meant a lot. I'm always greeted with the biggest smile, and it’s clear the place wouldn’t be the same without him. A genuinely great guy who adds so much to the atmosphere. Highly recommended!”

“We were searching for fish and chips it was like 10.00 pm we couldn’t find any shops only this was opened. We thought they are going to be grumpy because it was closing time. They welcomed us with big smile and they are happy to serve us. I thought maybe they will give leftovers. But they did it from scratch. Tasty, crispy, fresh fish with thin batter that’s what I like . Well packed in a separate boxes easy to carry without mess. They were friendly and generous. I am not a fish and chips person because I don’t oily, saggy cold and thick batters . I would say this is the best place for fish and chips.”

“I have been ordering from them for over a decade now, and the food is consistently good and very reasonable. I highly recommend the Jade Dragon Special Crispy Noodles, which has an assortment of vegetables and several meats and a house special sauce completes the dish, a complete meal in itself for under £7. The prawn crackers are fresh and flavourful, and they've been very kind and helpful when I was convalescing and needed dishes tailored. Always delivered cheerfully, no matter the weather (thank you!).”

“The fox and hound is a traditional Irish style pub. Friendly and helpful staff. Beers such as Stella, Guinness ect. No craft beers but good draft. this keeps the pub affordable. Karaoke on a Friday nights and live music on a Saturday. The Wolfe tones often play here.”

“Primark has a range of affordable workout items, if you are planning to go to the gym to be summer ready! Fitting is quick and easy and if you happen to be able to go during week days, the queue is not very long at the till compared with weekends. Going often to the gym if you like to have a freshly cleaned outfit for each session since the U.K. weather does not allow clothes to dry very quickly, worth a trip. Leggings at £3 Sport bras at £7 Tops at £6 (got them at £3, discounted on the day) I don’t usually like fast fashion but when planning to go down in size with the comfort of daily clean gym items, it does make sense not to buy branded and expensive items. Primark also has a very nice summer collection for house items this year. I particularly loved the cushion cover they give a Monsoon vibe.”

“I visited the restaurant Frankie & Benny's has in Croydon for the first time yesterday, and I must say it has been a very pleasant experience in all aspects. From the very first moment I put my feet in the restaurant, staff has provided an excellent customer service, especially Moni, who was the one who assisted us during dinner. Her politeness and permanent smile on her face was an excellent start for our first time at the restaurant. Frankie and Benny's menu is also great. You have a great variety of starters, mains and desserts that makes it difficult to choose only one. Portions are quite generous and the price I paid for dinner is perfectly balanced with the quality of food I had. In conclusion, a first experience that will be the first of many more I will do in future. It is totally worth.”

“Came in today with my parter, I am heavily pregnant and for an unknown reason wanted to take the stairs instead of the lift. Whilst going up the stairs a member of staff turned around and informed us there is a lift (I knew there was one but decided to conquer the stairs instead and have major regrets now just thankful river island seem to be the only clothing store with chairs dotted around) again once we finally made it to the top of the stairs i went to sit down and another member of staff informed my partner there is a lift we can use. I am extremely satisfied with the attentiveness of the staff aswell as the kindness. I dont ever shop here but i think i will have too now as i havent experienced this amount of kindness anywhere else! Thank you for making the end of our tiring shopping trip enjoyable ❤️”
