“Needed a covid-19 test for travel at very short notice. Excellent customer service from staff and Neil who administered the test was supper friendly and explained in detail the whole procedure. Rapid results time. If you are flying soon I would defiantly recommend as its better to have a great and comfortable experience than having a bad. So I would strongly recommend this place if your travelling for the Christmas or in the future.”

“My daughter has been attending this nursery for a year now when she was 11 months old and I always find her cheerful there - it feels like a second home to her. I would like to say this is one of the best childcare centres in this area. I was very skeptical initially as a mum to leave my daughter the whole day (10hours). All the staff members Veerpal, Dale, Shazia, Tahira, etc including the head teacher Himanshu are so nurturing, supportive, caring, attentive, kind and helpful to her as well as the other babies. I have always found the key worker Veerpal to be very communicative about my daughter's progress (including the online updates about her progress) and the way she allowed my daughter to take her time to settle in. Whenever I needed any kind of adjustments the whole staff including admin team was always supportive and efficient. The staff do invest a lot of time, effort and patience to allow babies to explore and be independent. I was surprised when I saw my daughter wanting to drink water/milk in a cup on her own without spilling, Building sand castles, messy plays, spending a good amount of time daily in the garden, allowing babies to make individual decisions, making shapes out of play dough, exploring natural materials and nature, singing various rhymes and describing the characters from the story, etc They do have a lot of extra activities for kids accompanied by parents. A yearly outdoor (farm) trip for the kids and parents. Visits to religious places accompanied by parents, obstacle course, etc I have seen a lot of improvements and her skills being enhanced each time. I would highly recommend the Grove house infant centre to anyone looking for a childcare / nursery in the area.”

“I have never left my dog in a kennel and after reading many reviews and going there and taking to other people, I put my dog in for 1 night and was so happy they understood my concerns I spoke to Tracey the owner and the staff are great and so reassuring. I have been back again and would recommend them always brilliant staff and so professional”

There are a range of different areas for play such as small world, role play, reading areas, arts & crafts, sensory & music and also equipment for physical development, allowing children to thrive in all areas of learning. The staff are very attentive, supportive and welcoming. They are always smiling which is reassuring for children, especially those who are new to the setting!”

The Ops Manager, Tibo, was exceptional! The care and thought put into the service provided will not be forgotten. From calling me prior to confirm my partners likes and interests, to welcoming us with a warm smile and asking about our long journey from Manchester. Nicola and Idan were so great at providing all the assistance we needed and nothing was too much trouble. Really great experience and highly recommended.”

“We had an excellent weekend stay at the Canopy. On arrival we received a very friendly, welcoming and efficient check-in service from Connor. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Due to a train delay, we arrived much later than planned, so ate at the hotel the first night. The food was delicious and, again, the service friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very good. Not a huge selection, but still enough to choose from, and good quality. Our only issue was that the pillows in our room were too plump for our liking, but the staff promptly changed them for us. Throughout our stay, the staff were excellent. We would certainly stay here again.”

Also Peter from the executive lounge was such a kind and warming staff member. He gave us some drinks even though it was already late. He always made sure we were okay. Actually i’m very satisfied about all of the staff. They were all so friendly. The rooms were amazing! And the beds…. Wow, i didn’t want to get out. Haha. The food quality in general could be better, but your hear no complaints from me. Im happy. Compared to a lot of other hotels where you pay exactly the same this hotel is just very very good!”

Everyone on the front of house team we experience were friendly, professional and took care to ensure we had an enjoyable experience right from the greeting on arrival through to the care and attention provided by Matthew throughout our visit. A special highlight was Matthew's service. He was exceptional. His knowledge of the wine list, insights into the menu options and just the right amount of attention ensured we had a memorable experience. Best service I have ever experienced in London. I should also note, the interior design was midcentury modern with a contemporary twist - loved it.”

“I had a really nice stay, booked myself a private room number 7 with bathroom. It had a big window that opens fully into the inner yard, was lovely. Breakfast is super, English breakfast served by very nice ladies. The place is greatly located next to Hyde Park and metro lines.”

“Second time staying here. Hands down, best location in London from a connections standpoint. Fifteen minute walk from Liverpool station to connect you to Heathrow and several other tube stations close by. Easy walking through Shoreditch packed with great restaurants and great nightlife and pubs. One of the nicest hotels in London unless you want to spend £500 per night. Modern, beautifully decorated, generous size rooms for London standards, squeaky clean, an adequate gym with modern equipment, and a great lounge and bar. Will definitely be back and have had many colleagues stay here, all which were very impressed.”

“This hotel is in East London, so if you're not well acquainted with London, you could still stay here if you're open to using London Underground for travel (which would almost always be faster than Uber. I only used Uber except for going back to LHR & it was a mistake not to use the Tube, in retrospect) to central London. Since there are political/activist rallies on many Saturdays, you may not want to stay in central London (or at least, not for all your nights in London). I've had bad experiences on two separate occasions (traffic may get re-routed & you may have to walk for miles & miles). You might not wanna make the mistake of arriving at the hotel in an Uber from LHR if you have few bags, because a direct Tube line to/from LHR is a couple of minutes away from the hotel (Google Maps shows a 4 minute walk, but it's actually even less!). The hotel is right next to Westfield, one of the largest urban malls in Europe. Last week, I was upgraded to a 1 BR suite owing to my Explorist status (technically, Explorists are not eligible for suite upgrades, but Hyatt House only has suites, so a studio -> 1 BR suite upgrades is possible for Explorists. YMMV). The hotel staff is quite helpful. Carlos from the front-desk called me when my suite became ready for check-in. My bags were secutely held & transferred to my suite when it became available. The decor of the suite was quite good. Breakfast spread was better than I had imagined. Vegan croissants were also available. The hotel's guest-operated laundry facility is also quite good. As of now, you need not hassle yourself with getting coins just for laundry, because it's free for guests. Definitely the best Hyatt House property I've ever stayed at.”

“The hotel is in a quiet area with a mall with many stores. The rooms were very clean, the double bed/ the mattres is very comfy, not too soft or too hard. The bath is clean and beautiful. Also the apartment has a kitchen with all you need. The area is quiet. Also the rooms have conditioned air that work both for cold and warm. The breakfast was very good.”

“I can’t recommend this hotel enough! I’m quite particular about cleanliness, and this place truly impressed me; everything was spotless, with attention to every detail. The bed was very comfortable, the room well-equipped, and the staff were incredibly warm and friendly! The location is perfect too, just a few meters from the subway, with a laundromat, grocery stores, and plenty of great restaurants nearby. A nice bonus was the stunning open view from my room! Considering the quality and the location, the price is an absolute steal!”

“Our son has been attending 1st Place at Chumleigh Gardens since he was 10 months old and we couldn’t be happier with the care he has received over the past three years. The staff are fantastic—kind, nurturing, and dedicated. He has built strong relationships with his carers, many of whom have been there throughout his time at the nursery, providing a wonderful sense of continuity. One of the things we love most is the emphasis on outdoor play and exploration. He thrives on being outside every day and especially enjoys the trips to forest school. The nursery also fosters a great sense of community, and he has made lots of friends along the way. The focus on child development is excellent, ensuring he is well-prepared for the next stage of learning. We are incredibly grateful for the care and support he has received and would highly recommend the nursery to other parents.”
