“We’ve visit The Britannia several times over the past few years (every time we visited Richmond) and the experience was great every single time. On our most recent visit we tried the cheese soufflé, the fish and chip and the turbot. Every dish was delicious, fish on both mains was cooked to perfection, service was friendly and courteous. Wine list is great as well. Highly recommend for a great night out and exceptional food experience.”

They have a tapas lunch special during the day. 3 tapas for £13.5 The Smoked chicken croquettes were good, the king prawn comes with lots of chorizo though it doesn't quite come together, and the trio of mushrooms (3 types of mushrooms cooked/boiled together) was okay though excessively salted. Still worth the money but not high end though perfect for us as a small lunch meal for 2.”

“It was a stupidly hot late June day and as we were traveling back from Hampton Court Palace, we met a local whose parents also happened to be staying at the same hotel (The Selwyn) as us. We were on the last leg of four straight weeks of international travel and safari…we were EXHAUSTED and wanted a good simple dinner super close to the hotel and The Red Cow was recommended to us. The bartender was awesome, but made my day when he noticed how hot and tired we looked and brought me a pint glass filled to the brim with ice, to go with my fruity cider I was trying. Divine! Small gesture, big impact. Enjoyed a delicious dinner, football match on the tv, and we’d stay here instead of The Selwyn next visit. Also, don’t recall the name of this drink he recommended, but it was perfect at the end of a long, hot day. Thank you!”

“The home of English Rugby, I still went in. The Sun Inn is a glorious Richmond pub with plenty of rugby pictures and trinkets. Good selection of both cask and keg beers on offer. Great service from the island bar courtesy of the wonderful staff. Love the famous picture of Fran Cotton just after his bath! Super pub!”

“Went there with the family, I had the chicken pizza and the amazing volcano Pizza. Both were absolutely delicious. The complementary olives and the tasty small bread were as tasty as well. Cant recommend the place enough. The staff was friendly and experience. you should definitely try it soon.”

“Long running family run professional barbers. Extremely friendly staff, with excellent barber skills, able to work with all hair types. Very cool place, with a graffiti ceiling you must see and hyper on trend. This should be the ONLY barber's you go to.”

“Stopped in early on a Saturday night for dinner as I’ve passed this restaurant multiple times and finally made it in to dine. The menu is straightforward and the food is absolutely delicious- pasta cooked to perfection and all the flavors complimenting each other. I went for the carbonara, good flavor and generous bits of bacon, and had olives to start which were marinated very nicely in herbs. Absolute gem of a place, will definitely be back!”

“New Yorker/New Jerseyan here- this place. is. it. The mafalde is absolutely delectable. It is the simplest meal made up of a handful of ingredients but oh my— the freshness?? unreal. The margherita pizza STUNNED with a classic cheesy, greasy (in a good way) finish, you really can’t ask for more. Even the vegan pizza was delicious, and a quick ricotta sub (i took olives off my half) made it the perfect meal. Excellent vibes, both indoor & outdoor, & excellent food. Cannot recommend it more! Will be back xx”

“I had a very positive experience at Le Look Image. I was unexpectedly in the area for family reasons and so had to cancel my appointment with my hairdresser at home - but my hair was in bad need of some tlc so I went to Le Look Image. I am extremely pleased that I did! My colour is fantastic - shiny and exactly the right shade for me (I asked for a match to my natural hair colour and got just that, but somehow it looks like a better version of my natural colour!) I am also very pleased with my cut - the gentleman took great care. He didn't do exactly what I asked - but with good reason - he politely explained that with my fine hair it would not look right, but adapted the cut to my hair. It looks really nice, the best cut I've had in years. Next time I need to be in the area I will try to get back to this salon.”

I loved the pizza and pasta we shared - sorry no photos of the Ndjua pizza or sage / butter ravioli as we were too busy eating it! Would highly recommend- avoid the tourist traps and go here.
