“Had a 3 course set meal as part of our visit to see Starlight Express. Prices for London were more than reasonable given the portion sizes and quality of our food The food was very tasty / full of flavour, lovely and hot and more than adequate portion sizes to sustain us for the rest of the day. Service charge was added to the bill, but didn't object as the staff were very attentive, pleasant and looked after us throughout the meal. Didn't know what to expect as it was offered as part of our ticket purchase for Starlight Express, but very happy we accepted the offer. Other menu options available if the 2 or 3 course set menu doesn't rock your boat”

“This is our third visit and absolute favorite French taster menu option in London. Our default for special occasions! Very refined but relaxed deco/atmosphere with the most lovely and attentive staff on the floor and in the kitchen. Julio the Head Sommelier looked after us personally all evening and was spot on with his wine pairing and interesting facts. He made us feel very welcome! The food as usual was exceptional, visually gorgeous, rather large portions and full of fresh dynamic flavour – well done chef. Also Patrisia and her team organized the evening for us and were ever so accommodating, I was very demanding I do admit. It was my husbands 65th birthday and he recently was diagnosed with cancer, so this was a birthday celebration we really needed and appreciated a break from our new reality for an evening!”

“Superb sir down Sunday roast at this very nice pub/restaurant. Had the roast beef with all the fixings. Just a 3 minute walk from Kennington tube. On another warm sunny evening I really enjoyed sitting out back in the garden. We were served by Mow who really looked after us. I had three delicious Beef Wellington. Not cheap.. but was excellent.”

The wide selection of traditional Punjabi food is easily the best in the area. To top things off the all the restaurant sang Happy Birthday making it one to remember!”

Despite our large group of 30, they really looked after us and made my grandma’s 80th birthday so special all while juggling several other parties at the same time. They were so busy but nothing was a trouble for them. From the very start, Simon’s communication via email was excellent, making the booking process effortless. The prices are so reasonable, and the food was incredible. we honestly couldn’t pick a favourite dish because everything was delicious. The entertainment was such a lovely touch, with plate smashing, dancing, and a fun conga that got everyone involved. It was a truly special evening that we’ll all remember, and we can’t wait to come back. Huge thanks to Simon and his wonderful team for making it such a perfect celebration”

“A delicious treat. Everything was delicious and very well presented. We stayed in the Docklands on the weekend and it was the best restaurant in the area. If u going to Excel exhibition - this is the best place for lunch or dinner. Not sure why some of the space was empty. Looks like they were moving furniture or something otherwise beautifully decorated. 5 stars for the food.”

“To anyone wishing to visit this restaurant, this location is an amazing place to experience and to dine. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, as soon as I walked in I was seated immediately, and was waited on within 5 min. special recognition goes to Fatima for her hospitality and brilliant service. Additionally to the bar team Beri and Mike for the amazing cocktail. Additionally I will be paying a visit again very soon. so I do hope the service remains the same. “Got a Tandoori Afghan special Extra large pizza, let me tell you it was the best thing crust pizza ever with some chilli and burger sauce. The pepperoni was also a great Pizza. Nice clean shop, good sitting area. Would recommend it always. Great lunch.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a great experience at Sahara Grill and wanted to give special mention to Abdur Rahman, who served us. He was very professional and, for a trainee, did an excellent job. He was attentive in a calm, subtle way, checking in on us during the meal and making sure we were comfortable without interrupting the experience. Little thoughtful touches showed his awareness and good service, which really helped us feel relaxed. Food-wise, everything was enjoyable, but the Angus short rib was a standout – absolutely a hit and easily the highlight of the meal. Overall, a very positive experience. Credit to Abdur Rahman and the team.”

“The steak here is amazing and I had £25 off, so which meant I pay next to nothing for this delicious steak with chips. Full of flavour and not chewy at all and the pub is beautiful by a little stream and great for families. It’s a must try for me”

“Last nights experience at this pub was brilliant! I had the Bull & Gate burger and my husband had the fish and chips, both very reasonably priced and great flavour. Our server Will made my experience 10/10, he was very kind and attentive, always checking in on us. Lovely young man who is clearly there for their customers best interests. The wonderful Xmas decorations also got me into a very festive spirit! I would definitely recommend if you haven’t tried already!”

“I went to Ivy Market Grill on Thursday evening with my brother. Our waiter was Carlos, and I honestly can’t praise him enough. He was full of positive energy, very friendly, and incredibly polite. He really looked after us. For food, we ordered the Fish & Chips and the Moroccan-style Chicken. The fish and chips were excellent, but the chicken wasn’t really to my taste as it had quite a strong curry flavour. For dessert, we chose the Chocolate Bombe, which was delicious, and Carlos very kindly surprised us with an extra dessert on the house. That was such a thoughtful gesture and very much appreciated. Overall, it was a wonderful experience — many thanks to Carlos and the whole team for making our evening so enjoyable.”
