“We stay at a lot of Premier Inn’s when going on mini-breaks with the kids and this is probably the favourite one we’ve stayed in. Excellent location, close to Warner Bros / Harry Potter tour. Room (Quad / Family) was clean and spacious. Great air conditioning too. Breakfast (cooked by Frank) was delicious and well presented (Eggs were cooked to order). All of the staff (especially Marie/Maria) were pleasant, friendly and very helpful. The whole place had a nice, relaxed vibe. Would definitely recommend.”

“I will start by saying that I am a coffee lover and this Starbucks in probably one of the best. The coffee is always amazing and the staff are just the best. Little to say that my dog loves it as well and it became part of our morning routine to stop and have well deserved coffee and papuccino.”

“Had one of the best pastries here - The Cruffin!!! Delicious and filled with cheese cake & available flavours - we had Blackberry. It was the best ever.... The staff are friendly and warm. Set near the Aldenham Country Farm, the cafe has warm indoor seating and a large tent, just like camping.”

“Recently reopened under a new management team, Linger & Taste is a fantastic spot for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. We went for breakfast this morning, and were greeted by a friendly team, quick and attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere. The food is well priced, ample portions and exactly what you should expect from a casual breakfast spot. They have the traditional British breakfast combinations, as well as omelettes, smoothies, and other lighter options. Value for money is perfect. I would definitely come back and would be excited to try lunch or dinner menu options.”

“We moved to Next Level last year after spending 9 years at another academy, and honestly, my daughter has made more progress in the last 6 months here than in the previous 3 years elsewhere. This is entirely thanks to the incredible teaching staff. From day one, Nikki has been amazing—assessing my daughter, guiding us to the right class, and helping us choose the best swimming activities (and they have plenty!). The late evening classes are brilliant—no traffic, no rushing around. The water polo camp was a real highlight—well organised, affordable, and so much fun for the kids. My daughter learned new skills, made friends, and couldn’t wait to go back each day. One thing that really stands out is how attentive the teachers are. They watch the kids constantly, guide them, and truly listen to them. My daughter absolutely loves going, leaves every lesson with a big smile, and can’t wait to tell me what she’s learned. Parents can also watch the classes, and the teachers are always approachable if you need to speak to them. Communication is excellent—you receive detailed progress reports, but you can also just have a friendly chat with the staff. They are incredibly encouraging and supportive of the kids. “Popped in for brunch on a Sunday morning. Food is the standout for me here. It's great quality for a very reasonable price. We had one of the breakfasts, a shake and a juice between us - sausage was amazing, eggs poached perfectly, toast well buttered and baked beans not too runny. Both the shake and the juice were exactly as advertised and we really enjoyed them. The menu as a whole is excellent and the plates on the other tables looked equally as good. Only thing i would say is that if you like your cafes on the quieter side then Sundays morning possibly not for you. Complete recommend. You won't be dissapointed.”

“We enjoyed our dining experience on Sunday 22 September 2024. Unfortunately, they had run out of the roast beef option (but it WAS 2.30pm) so we settled for scampi and cod. The food is always good here, and the service (although the pub was very busy) was exemplary.”

“Arrived at borehamwood elstree late afternoon after a long drive up from Exeter Devon, we took a walk and found Jenny's cafe, On entry we was greeted with a smile, we enquired if we could still order main meals and yes we could as didn't close till 6pm, l highly recommend the omelette chips peas and salad, absolutely delicious, Clean and tidy environment, great service, Didn't take indoor photos but took from outside the main entrance door”

“I really like the Lidl in Borehamwood. The store is massive, so there’s always a great selection of products and it never feels too crowded. One of the best things is the parking — there are always plenty of spaces, which makes shopping there super convenient. Overall, it’s a well-organised store with good prices and an easy, stress-free experience every time.”
