“Been buying beans for espresso here regularly for some months now and feel very grateful to have this roaster just a short drive from my home! Fantastic care for the quality of their beans and roasting process. They're always friendly when I go in and are more than happy to make up a custom (always recently roasted) batch of whatever blend it is I'm looking for if they don't already have it on their shelves. Nice little selection of coffee gear in stock there too which is a nice bonus.”

“I’ve honestly never felt somewhere more peaceful in such a long time, my favourite dish has to be the pesto, tomato and mozzarella sandwiches or maybe even the smoked salmon with cream cheese, they have a whole variety of options that I look forward to trying yet I can’t seem to step away from my favourites. But I have to say again the atmosphere is everything, such a calm and welcoming place, where the staff are clearly not afraid to have a friendly chat as they don’t forget to leave you with a smile and a goodbye. I recommend going in the morning like 8am grab a coffee or even a smoothie I promise you, you’ll have the most relaxing feeling ever. I loved it and I love coffee plant x”

“I got as far as the door before finding dogs weren't allowed. It appeared to be the first time someone has asked - as the staff stared silently at each other before telepathically deducing that the answer was no. Anyway, my wing man ordered the coffees which were of good quality and supplied in a timely fashion. Sadly, I was only able to get a picture of the inside through the closed door, but it looked nice, cosy and clean inside. Outside seating has been created in an imaginative and optimistic way...which makes it difficult to get a picture of the place without including an industrial bin!”

The flavors were rich and smooth, and I learned a lot about the different types and how they’re made. I’ll definitely be getting more into whiskey after this — highly recommend this tasting to anyone curious or new to it!”

“This is by far the best café I have ever been to! The menu has a wide range of affordable and delicious items - especially the homemade cakes! All of the staff, especially the owner are kind and accommodating. Myself and my boyfriend spend a lot of time here, revising/studying and are always made to feel welcome here. The decor is beautiful and there are occasionally fun events held here in the evening. If you are in Blackhorse Road or a student situated locally, I would definitely recommend visiting as it is my most favourite place to go to!
