“I’ve been to many restaurants, those which include restaurants that have multiple Michelin stars. I am super critical with reviews, but I never thought it would come to the day I would say this.. but this food “is food that brings you back home… back home to your mother”. That’s so rare in this day and age and think how much of an expert someone has to be to create that with Thai food for someone coming from Sri Lankan origin. Every ingredient is fresh, the blend of spices, the quality of meat and the food expertly made brings a dish which is truly homemade and delicious. I have never experienced anything that tastes truly homemade from a restaurant outside the home. I feel great after eating this too compared to other takeaways as it’s so natural. This is hands down the best restaurant in St Albans. Kat and her partner are such a superb couple running this restaurant, they are incredibly kind and accommodated to a special birthday request. They both came out and greeted us, which was super kind of them and proved many things but the biggest.. this is homemade food, food made from the heart. You want to try true Thai food.. don’t bother with the £800 flight, come here - to this very place a drive away in a lovely home situated in St Albans and you will experience it first hand. “Contained in an arch under a railway bridge, the restaurant is very cute. There are 5 or so tables inside and several tables on the outside. Against one side of the restaurant is the kitchen which is housed in a stationary van. So a very unique setup. We had several pasta dishes. The kids meals represented very good value for money and tasted great - beef short rib pasta. The other mains were porchini and truffle pasta and pasta with beef ragu. All items were of high quality and tasted great. We will go back.”

They use Leicht kitchens, which are absolutely stunning — top quality and fully bespoke to your space. He made the most of the space and adapted the plan seamlessly to fit with the building work, including new windows and doors. The installation was on time, done to perfection and any small follow-up bits were sorted quickly and efficiently. “I popped in for a coffee as I was delivering just around the corner. The place is small but really nice and it created a really nice atmosphere. I ordered the coffee and a cheese and tuna panini with chillies. Nothing was too much trouble, the communication was great, I had to wait around 5 minutes but I sat and enjoyed my coffee . It was delicious, and when I gave the owner feedback she mentioned that she only uses the best coffee and her passion for the business was brilliant. I would highly recommend , delicious food, brilliant panini, friendly staff and a great coffee shop with a great atmosphere”

It’s so lovely to be able to sit down and enjoy your meal/coffee surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers. Four leaf is set in a family run garden centre right next to the train station. Such a gorgeous place to sit and relax.”

“Just had the most lovely pamper package with my daughter here. Laura and Debbie are super warm and welcoming. I wasn't expecting to be too relaxed given I was there with my 6 year old but as I said to Debbie my facial was sooo relaxing and I didn't even realise I had a headache until it was gone. When I go to a beauty centre for the first time I want to find a friendly environment, where the beauty therapists try to make the experience the least unpleasant possible. Until now I couldn't find such a place. Today was the day! It was the best wax experience I have ever had in my entire life. The sugaring was pain-free and it left my skin without the typical redness after waxing. Renata was so caring, professional and kind. I felt totally at ease with her and she explained all the treatments she was doing and the products she was using. I will ask for her during my future treatments. The beauty centre is very clean and it is not something you can take for granted in London. I absolutely recommend it to anyone living in the area.”
