“I discovered a hidden gem in London - the K2 pizzeria in Ealing. Without a doubt, it's the tastiest pizza I've ever had. Even though I live an hour away, every time I'm in the area, I order one pizza to eat there and another one to take home. “As an avid fan of Japanese cuisine I had a great dinner at Umi. The menu consists of a wide variety of different Japanese dishes which accommodates for all kinds of meal preferences. All the dishes we ordered were very fresh and were prepared with great detail. All dishes worked to create an authentic experience. In particular, the pork cutlet in the curry don was cooked to perfection with a crispy breaded surface and a tender centre. The sashimi had a umami flavour which is always a pleasant surprise in good quality sashimi. The establishment has a comfortable atmosphere and the high quality service provided by the staff of Umi ensured that we had a great time. I would highly recommend Umi as a go-to for authentic Japanese food.”

“The best sushi I’ve had. So much variety of ingredients and flavours, the rice is cooked perfectly and the fish is very fresh. The portion sizes are large and the chef is friendly and knowledgeable. “Walked in late lunch. Ordered bacon and egg soft bap. After debating which bread I wanted roll, sandwich or soft bap. Has got to be one of the best and reasonably priced lunch break for a long time. Staff very friendly and willing to help. And will literally go out of their way to accommodate if possible. Amazing service and food”

“What a pleasant experience. We were greeted at the door and seated by the friendly "Ben" who anticipated our needs throughout the evening. Ben brought us some complimentary warm focaccia and olives to nibble on while we made our menu choices. The menu has a good balance of dishes and I quickly decided on my choices along with a bottle of Ramaro for the table; I have a soft spot for Sicilian red wine. All dishes were well plated and tasted as good as they looked. The portions were also very generous, perhaps "Mama" was in the kitchen dishing the plates. After the meal, there was little room left for dessert, so I shared a panna cotta with my wife; I have to say that it was the best I've ever tasted. My only regret is that I didn't choose one of the seafood dishes, they looked realy appetizing. My relationship with crustacions has always been one where no matter what precautions I take while shelling them, a jet of oil always squirts out and slashes me on my shirt. Perhaps next visit I'll wear on old shirt or a bib; perhaps both.”

“Love this cafe, it's one of my faves in the area. Lovely food and good coffee to match. I came with my one year old daughter and whilst the place is quite small, the staff were incredibly accommodating to set her up in a high chair and were engaging with her throughout our meal, bringing her colouring pads and childrens cutlery. They were also un-phased by all the food and pencils that ended up on the floor! Food was nice, came out hot and quickly. Defo recommend.”

“Not had fish and chips for years. Looked up where to go as my son requested a bday treat while keeping up his lent restrictions. Our meals were all very good, especially the size and batter on the fish. Was crispy, not wet or stodgy at all. The owner Sam was very friendly, welcoming and went out of his way to accommodate us. He even threw in extra chips and a really lovely fresh salad for free. My mum was fascinated by how clean the shop was too. Would definitely visit again and recommend to others. All over great experience from start to finish!!”

“YES CHEF!!!!!!!!!!! Wandle Pirates is just a delight!!! They have unbelievable seafood tapas, fast and warm service that treats you like a mate and dry-aged steaks that are jaw-droppingly good and you simply won’t find this level of steak for this price in central London. The lamb and chicken meatballs are absolute must-tries, bursting with flavour and perfectly cooked. The olives!!! Oh, the olives!!! Let’s just say that are best I’ve ever eaten! The cocktails deserve a shout too! Their selection is creative, beautifully garnished and so tasteful! The place is spotless and you can tell every plate has been crafted with love, each garnish carefully placed! I also just can’t get over the desserts (yes, me and my girlfriend tried all three). We had a brilliant day out, felt genuinely welcomed, and enjoyed delicious food and drinks in this lovely cozy restaurant (the outside vibes are also amazing over summer time). Wandle Pirates absolutely delivers the goods and you just get everything! Serious meat, killer cocktails, the feeling of genuine love and care in every slice and sip and all the care you'd expect from a top-end spot!”

“We have been regular customers way before they got their alcohol license. I feel so sad that they had to change their menu to cope with the demand of the area. I really like their cooked meals like the goulash soup, chicken paprikas, beef stew and the chimney cakes. Langos is good too, I mean they have the garlic flavouring which I wasn't able to find in Budapest. The Palinka that they sell is good quality. The stuffed pepper with cabbage pickles is the best, hope they bring it back to the menu. I hope that the business gets better. I totally recommended this place.”

We arrived around 8 PM and only had to wait 20 minutes for a table, which is pretty reasonable for a buzzing Saturday evening. The staff were warm and welcoming, and service was impressively fast. Now to the highlight: the BBQ! From the juicy lamb skewers to the smoky chicken wings, every bite was packed with flavor. The seasoning was just right — bold, savory, and addictive. The skewers brought back nostalgic memories of late-night street BBQs from my childhood. The grilled sausage and bacon-wrapped goodies were standout bites too — crispy on the outside, tender inside. Just check out the photo… it speaks for itself! This place nailed the balance of great food, casual vibes, and friendly service. We’ll definitely be back — and bringing friends next time. “Absolutely delicious food. Highly recommend the charcoal grilled meats. You will not be disappointment. We had the grilled lamb main and chicken wings this time and the meat was tender and juicy. Will try the other ones next time. Also loved the smoked aubergine purée dip as well. Honestly all the food dishes were great and the portion size are good too. All the food we tried were great but sadly I forgot to take photos of them as was too focus on eating. We tried their house wines and they weren’t bad neither. This is now our new favourite local place to eat and will definitely add this place to our rotation!”
