“Very spacious and quiet green area with lots of benches. Lots of pretty roses, too.”
“Lovely, well equipped, peaceful area, ideal for Families with young kids”
“Fabulous live music at the Gardener's cottage on Sunday 12pm - 4pm in summer. Why I'm I just hearing about this? Lovely music by Redbridge Music Lounge, great acts worth seeing”
“I never knew this place existed! My builder took me there to choose paving slabs, etc. Everyone was so nice. Great prices and shop.”
“My car broke down outside this development and the 2 men at the concierge let me stay warm in their lobby until 2am! They were so nice and kind and friendly and really helped me when I was in a place of hardship. I just wanted to say thank you for your hospitality! :) it was a pleasure to meet you both!”
“Definitely worth checking out if you have little ones, free groups etc”
“My sons and daughter have been attending SNTS for many years and they love it. The teachers are incredible, both in their teaching ability, but also how much they care about the students. The SNTS Shows give great experience for students to perform on a stage and go through the process of performance - and my children are already excited about the 2024 show. Best dance school in North London!”
“Our son has been at Kateys for 9 months now and we couldn't be happier. The staff are so welcoming and loving towards the children. The range of activities, play and learning they do is outstanding. Each day useful feedback is given and periodically more thorough feedback in the form of a learning journal and parents evenings. I'm always astonished by the range and depth of topics covered. The setting is excellent too with lots of outdoor space and nearby points of interest. Highly recommend.”
“This is by far the greatest club in London, with classes all over the city and even some outside of London now aswell. I have been apart of this amazing club for the past 11 years and it has been a truly wonderful experience for me. This club has become a family to me and I cannot thank the instructors enough for working with me throughout these years. I would highly recommend LTA if you are looking to get into any martial arts, learn discipline or just stay fit!”
“We have sent our daughter (3yo) to this nursery for over a year now. She (and we) love it there. The staff are great (lead admirably by Super Fae) and the kids are all so happy. We feel really lucky to have found somewhere local that takes such good care of the children.”
“When I first started Sam’s classes, I couldn’t dance at all! I love dancing but I just looked so stiff every time I tried! Sam has helped me through my learning journey by teaching me dance techniques, fundamentals and combos that I will keep forever. His classes has really helped build my confidence and made me a better dancer (I hope!) Would highly recommend Sam!”
“Great venue full of community activities.”
“One of the coolest parks with lots of activity spaces! Table tennis, tennis, football fields, kids playground, some exercise machines, kids wet playground. Very nice hidden gem”
“Arnold Circus is the heart of the East End. As you walk up the steps towards the bandstand, with the London plane trees towering overhead, it is as an inspirational space, as if you are entering a vast green cathedral. The depth of the planting enfolding the park is such that you feel a forest has been transplanted into the city.”
“Beautiful little Venice, we will be back!”
“Friendly and well positioned. Fantastic value for money. Stayed here with my baby and they had cots! Plenty of conveniences, clean and warm.”
“Calm environment to detach from the noise of the neighbouring street and offices. Well maintained all year round and loads of seats.”
“It has been a while since my husband and I have been, 1980 to be exact, when we got married at the church and had our photos in the Priory Gardens. My husband spent many a day playing here with friends when young. Clean, tidy and peaceful, although the roses could do with a de-heading. Plenty of room to kick a ball or to have a picnic. The lake is home to a large amount of, Canadian and Egyptian Geese with some ducks and coots. There is a playground for the little ones and quiet nooks in the walled garden for quiet contemplation. They have converted the toilets into a cafe Very enjoyable, but a pity the museum is no longer there.”
“I would give you 10 stars if I could! Lovely welcoming centre and staff who create a fun and friendly atmosphere and the building is fun, friendly and colourful”
“Such a cute place to go and feed the ducks. It's one of the few ponds around that still have ducks in it and not just seagulls!”
“Really nice staff, Verry welcoming. Definitely going to use this place for my next party”
“In and out quickly found what we need!”
“Went for a private party. Great Venue with a cash bar. The staff were lovely, beer good and a varied choice of wine, spirits and soft drinks all at very reasonable prices. Spacious. Good tables, chairs etc.”
“This is a small but very peaceful little park area close to the centre of Chesham; about a five minute walk at a gentle pace. It has a pleasant stream running through the middle and benches where you can sit, contemplate nature or just watch the world go by. You can follow the street out of the park area too another and from there into the old part of town near to St Mary’s Church.”
“We hired a small room to hold a meeting at the Centre. The receptionist was very attentive and kind. The room was well lit and heating was accessible. It's a good space to hold small meetings in a quiet environment.”
“Visited last week as a volunteer, great food, great band and the local Mayor present.Lots of attendees who use the centre regularly”
“Superb school and staff. We moved our child from our local outstanding school to Acorn after we noticed he was been left behind due to a rushing attitude on learning and some other factors. The care and attention given here has huggly improved his well being therefore a massive step towards the education. If you are thinking of joining the school go and see it for yourself. Notice the happy children, notice the classrooms and the office. Speak to the teachers and you will get your answers. We are very greaful to have chosen this school.”
“A gem of a pub! The Garden Shed is simply fantastic. The food is beautiful—not just in appearance, but because every dish is packed with flavour and genuinely delicious. They have the perfect range of options, with generous portions that leave you completely satisfied. What truly sets this place apart is the brilliant staff, especially Jason. The customer service is exactly what you'd hope for and so much more. They make you feel genuinely welcome. Speaking of which, the pub's atmosphere is wonderfully warm, welcoming, and chilled out. It’s the kind of place where you can just relax and feel completely at ease. I would 100% recommend The Garden Shed, whether you're a local looking for a new favourite spot or just passing through. It's a real find!”
“I was impressed by how organized and informative the London Zoo is. I visited with students to do a conservation workshop, and the quality of learning was outstanding. The zoo was incredibly clean, and constructed with so much purpose and intentionality. I appreciated that many animals that require larger enclosures were not located at this property and instead out at Whipsnade, though I still found it a little jarring having a zoo in the middle of a city, with roads literally passing through the middle of it. However, we saw how much work was being done to provide support and care for the animals, and it was clear that they are intentional in all they are doing. Would definitely recommend and visit again.”
