The homemade chips were crispy and seasoned to perfection, and the salad with balsamic vinegar added a refreshing balance to the meal. “Lovely pub! Service was friendly and efficient. The pub was clean both inside and outside. There is a terrace at the back with some table and booths. The booths are equipped with heaters so you can enjoy them during all seasons. Food was nice and portions were sufficient for a group of 4. Toilets were clean. I would recommend this pub for any type of event. You can enjoy a pint with friends, or a party with colleagues. They also have live music sometimes so check the board at the entrance for information.”

“Needed to change beds so stopped by Hamseys as it's local. Served by Andy who was very pleasant and patiently showed us various options. He also has a sense of humour. We bought 3 beds and headboards, and the delivery came with free set-up. Having had such an excellent service in store we decided to replace existing headboards on other beds. Good prices on all items. The delivery guys were excellent also - they set up all the beds and headboards and took all wrappings away. These are not quite one month in place, so we hope the quality remains as good as the items look.”
