“The bubble tea was absolutely fantastic, I had the taro milk tea with tapioca (made fresh, which was pretty cool). Me & my wife then came for dinner. I liked the food, but it's a very exquisite taste which some may not like. I appreciate that the chicken is halal. I had the chicken soup, and my wife had the prawns with rice. Great decor with lots of plants, oriental snacks & a pac-man arcade machine. ❤️”

“Had a bacon and mushroom sandwich while passing by. Absolutely perfect, really tasty. Came back on my way back home too. Coffee was good as well. This place is quite busy at peak times and they cope very well with it. Worth a visit if you like English breakfast type dishes, has a wider menu selection too.”

“Such a great pub/restaurant. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is delicious, the lunch time bites and small menu are great. I love the Welsh Rarebit and the bubble & squeak. So much to choose from. In a great location with walks around. Parking is free on the street.”

“Stopped into the Harrow location on our way back to the Midlands and had a really pleasant experience. We didn’t have a reservation but the lady receiving guests showed us to a table for two straight away. There were plenty of patrons but the atmosphere was pleasant and not too noisy or overwhelming. We had the butchers block and a selection of drinks that had plenty of fresh fruit and ice served with them as advertised. Our server, Nicole, was very friendly and welcoming and was attentive to our needs, as well as those of a large party seated next to us. She had a warm and approachable demeanour that helped two out of towners feel at ease :)”

“I really like this restaurant on the high street. The service is great and the decor and atmosphere is nice too. Never rushed to leave after finishing dinner, rather get left until we ask for the bill. It’s great for kids too as they have a nice mix of dishes which are big enough for my 13 and 10 year old girls. Food is nice a flavoursome. The staff here are all really nice and will give us good advice on the types of dishes we might like. I am a bit adventurous with my food and my family rather like the same. I always try different things and so far everything has been amazing and causes me to keep coming back. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting some tasty food. It’s restaurants like this that we need to remain on our high streets. Keep up the great work and we look forward to coming back soon.”

“We enjoyed our first meal here. - we had prawn Murta, prawn biriyani, popadoms, rice and aloo gobi and a couple of soft drinks. Bill for both of us was £50 which we felt was very fair. We gave a tip as it wasn’t included in the bill. Service was excellent. Definitely will go again.”

“The Urban Rose is an amazing find hidden away in Uxbridge Leisure Centre. I have been a client since it opened and I would highly recommend this salon. The salon itself is decorated with a high finish and is always immaculately cleaned and maintained. The staff are friendly, polite and professional and I have always received outstanding service. I was absolutely thrilled with my “wedding hair” and the photos looked amazing. I also take my two young sons, who are 2 and 4, to have their hair cut at the Urban Rose. The stylists are always patient and attentive and as my 4 year old says, “he wouldn’t have his hair cut by anyone else!”. Thank you!”

“I really enjoyed the Indian afternoon tea at Orangery by Sapna. The Karak tea was definitely the highlight rich, warming, and full of flavor. The scones were fresh and perfectly baked, and the assortment of sandwiches offered a nice variety of tastes. I also loved the sweet treats, which were beautifully presented and delicious. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, making it a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a proper afternoon tea. Overall, a delightful experience that I’d happily return to.”

“There was a live artist performing and we had a meal and music deal. The meal was precooked from the varied menu which aided greatly the speed of service. But there was signs of the food having sat about, it was all freshly cooked and tasty. It was a very good evening with friendly people around to chat to and a Happy atmosphere. The singer was very good too. And all at a remarkable price and value for money.”

“I have had no issues with this store. I recently moved into the area, and this store is ideally located on the Long Lane stretch. It means it is in walking distance to me, and I pretty much find what I need every time. This store saves me travelling in a car, or even paying delivery charges when ordering online, therefore for me it works. The store is friendly, and it has a community feel.”

“We bought a Nabru sofa back in 2013 and were impressed then, and recently decided we wanted to get another. I was a bit concerned when I saw some of the negative reviews on here, wondering if the company had gone downhill since we last bought from them! But I needn't have worried - our new sofa was delivered perfectly on time, two working days after we had ordered it. We paid extra for assembly this time and I'm so glad we did - the delivery guy was very friendly and he expertly assembled the large corner sofa in just 30 minutes! “I am a real novice when it comes to woodworking and the staff here was very helpful not only with providing me with the materials I need but also gave me an advice that the plywood I was buying may not be esthetically pleasing and suggested me a better one. It's my first woodworking project so I stuck to cheaper material as I will no doubt make a mess of this but for my future projects when I get better at it I'll buy the better one. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I think this may now be my new local hardware store rather than B&Q. These guys know their stuff!”

They were very professional and Gurpreet was very good at listening to our needs and designing a kitchen accordingly and at price that suited our budget. They came all the way to surrey to fit the kitchen and almost 3 years later we are still very happy with the results. My father recommended MBS to me after they designed and installed the kitchen and bathrooms at his house back in 2005. I would highly recommend MBS Bathrooms and Kitchens and will use them again in the future should the need arise.”
