Delicious in Richmond

“Picked this venue for a coffee after reading the great reviews and was not disappointed. Don't be fooled by the modest entrance, the shop is a visual cornucopia of artistic delights. The drinks arrived in cute, hand painted cups and saucers, with small wooden spoons and the coffees adorned with coffee art. We sat and took in all the amazing decor which was for sale: cups, small serving dishes, bags, spoons, a menagerie of small crocheted animals with some in key ring form plus so much more. It was a feast for the eyes and brain to take in everything that was on display. The coffee was equally good and hope to try one of the cakes next time. An absolute joy for the senses and would highly recommend.”

“Went here for brunch and really enjoyed their portion sizes and their wide variety of brunch/breakfast options. Their full English breakfast was great value for money and was really filling and great portion sizes. The bacon was crisp and their sausages weren’t too greasy which was a perfect combination. Would highly recommend their brunch for anyone in the area. Their fresh juices were a great complement to the brunch.”

“I had the most amazing experience at Rock and Rose in Richmond. The food was great - my friend and I ordered the crispy tempura shrimp, the chicken milanese, the lamb leg steak and sticky toffee pudding for dessert - can't fault anything, tasted amazing! The drinks were delicious too, the bartenders put on a whole show for us and it added to the experience. The staff were all so lovely and hospitable, I loved the decor and ambience inside and it was super packed which goes to show how popular it is. Thank you so much for having us, this place is a hidden gem for sure! Can't wait to return ✨️”

“A nice coffee shop. I ordered a cup of Matcha Latte, and one croissant. The Matcha Latte was good, but the croissant was not fresh. The staffs were friendly, and helpful. 5 stars for them. Sockets for charging are available. Toilets for customers are available.”

“Knot Pretzels and Coffee is a perfect stop! I had the cinnamon sugar pretzel — it was fresh, warm, and absolutely delicious. The service was great too. It made for the perfect treat to enjoy on the train. Definitely worth a visit! Cute little area where you can eat in, too!”

“I was so happy with the food! I got the tonkotsu. They had little delicate touches which really added to the lovely experience like extra garlic and a garlic presser as well as hair ties in a jar so that long luscious hair doesn't get muched on. Only thing I'd say is it would be nice for more pork in my tonkotsu”

“The pizza was very fresh and tasty. Kus gave us good information about the pizzas since we were vegetarian and we went with his suggestions which was delicious. Definitely order the Tiramisu. It was homemade and super fresh. Must try place if you’re in Richmond.”

“The Old ship is a classic lunch time spot in Richmond. They have a lot of space both down and upstairs, with the upstairs being an unbelievable event space. We come regularly for lunch and it never fails. As a gluten free man the cider battered fish and chips went down a treat, as well as the pint in the picture below ‘Bandit’. One of nicest gluten free pints I have had in years.”

“We had a brilliant time at So Bar for a cocktail masterclass! Highly recommend for an event or celebration. The venue is perfect and the team make sure the class is personalised to the group. “An excellent restaurant with brilliant service and great sanitation. We felt looked after and safe the entire evening! Food was one of the best we have had in London. We got the aloo tiki chaat, papdi chat, salmon, shashlik and terichelly prawns for the starter and we were blown away by the authentic flavours. My favourite would have to be the aloo tiki chaat and the prawns. Everything tasted fresh and tender with perfectly balanced flavours. For the main meal, we got the methi gobi, chettinad, butter chicken and dal makhani with rice, naan and paratha; all were superb! There was a range of spice levels and something for everyone in the family, veg and non-veg. The portions were a great size and the presentation of the food and drinks made the evening even better. I am normally quite particular and uncompromising about food but I have never been so impressed. We will definitely revisit many more times in the future.”

He will make sure you’re happy with your cuppa and goes the extra mile. His toasties are fantastic and so tasty!! There’s always something delicious to try. It’s so lovely to be able to sit down and enjoy your meal/coffee surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers. Four leaf is set in a family run garden centre right next to the train station. Such a gorgeous place to sit and relax.”
