“Charming restaurant less than 5 mins from Surbiton Rail station and opposite Sainsbury’s. The old Post Office building has been repurposed as a restaurant, fitted out in a sustainable way with genuine Turkish designs and materials. My server had a Masters in restaurant design so was knowledgeable and happy to point out some of the features. The coffee was excellent and the Nutella and sea-salt cookie was something I’d never tasted before and had a light and delicate texture. Good access for wheelchairs and my go to coffee stop in Surbiton when on foot or a motorcycle or bicycle with parking right outside the door.”

“The experience from the first time we came in and met Aiden and Drini right the way through was excellent, they provide advice and inspiration on how to get the best look for our kitchen. From templating to installation was about 4 days.. that is crazy fast. They pay attention to the detail and made sure veins etc aligned - best product and price in the area”

“What a wonderful little restaurant! Despite having very high expectations due to all the great reviews, my family and I were still surprised at how great this place was. The sashimi pieces were lovely and thick, their signature rolls were delicious but our favourite was the udon (unfortunately not pictured as we were too busy slurping it up!)- the noodles were cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend this place for the delicious food and the lovely attentive staff!”

“Popped in for lunch on the spur of the moment and thank goodness we did. We were greeted warmly and given the menu and chose, I had lamb souvlaki which was absolutely delicious, the chunks weren't massive like in other restaurants which I don’t like, they were cooked to perfection with strong Mediterranean flavours, my wife had a salad that had avocado and Halloumi with a trio of dips to go with again the flavours were perfect, the atmosphere was great and we will definitely be going again as it’s local for us. Thanks for a wonderful lunch”

“I had always wanted a coffee table that converted into a dinning table. I knew cadira did one so I went to the ideal home show to see theirs. I was impressed and even managed to get a good discount. After 6 weeks, I was notified that the table had arrived. Delivery was prompt and very efficient. I love the table, it does wonderful things and though I have not yet used it for a dinner party, that is on the cards real soon. The staff I spoke to to arrange delivery and the staff that delivered it were always professional and helpful.”

“What a wonderful nail salon! My friend introduced me to this gem of a place a while ago and I’ve never looked back. The staff are really friendly and so accommodating. I’ve had pedicures, biab, acrylics and shellac manicures. Each time I go they take such care to give me what I asked for. Tina is amazing and the lady who does my pedicure is so thorough. Truly recommend this salon and the interior is so nice and clean. They make you feel welcomed and I will not be going to any other salon! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a salon that does it all. All I have to do is show them a picture of what I want and they recreate it perfectly if not better each time! Thanks guys x”

“Been coming here occasionally for 10 years now and I have to say it’s the best nail store I’ve been to, without ridiculous london prices. Out of the many places I’ve been to across south west London, this place definitely tops them all. Super quick, efficient and thorough - they’ve never said no to any nail designs! Not to mention the fact that my nails last at least a month after getting them.”

“I arrived early to get changed for a wedding and your systems were down but Sarah sorted everything out for me, got me into a room to be able to get changed. She was so helpful. In the morning Claire was on duty and the breakfast was really busy, she sorted me out and was so friendly and helpful. A great experience.”

“Most people who ride the tube the destination is the area around the station, but my mother and I back in Nov 2025 traveled to Surbiton Station solely for one of its Cafe Nero stalls. See, as part of our trip to London I wanted to do as many ethical Harry Potter things as possible, and while the ownership has changed, this Cafe Nero is the exact same location that was used to film one of the opening scenes of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I think I recreated the photo very well. I also ordered a hot chocolate and it was amazing. Thank you to the barista for not minding turning your work into a photo shoot.”
