“My wife and I made a last minute booking with Original Travel; they took my brief and then responded quickly with a plan. we reviewed, made a few changes with input from them, and booked the trip. (Two other travel companies had failed to arrange a similar trip). Thereafter whatever unforeseen events interfered in moving locations or hotels was taken care of by OT and their concierge service. The trip, which included going to the Artic, and then north Norway, loads of excursions, all went to plan. Great trip!”

“A super find when we searched for a gastrobar between Roedean & London. Food was excellent, and the service was superb. I appreciated how they tried their best to nudge things along as we had expressed concern over our schedule when we made the reservation. Loved the local garden inclusions in the menu. “We went for the 3rd time for the lunch time serving. £80 per person but well worth every pound. The food was delicious, fresh and didn't disappoint. The waiters were polite. My only drawback is the manager. She's very abrupt as she gave a rude gesture when we declined wine and asked for bottle water. The way she speaks to customers and the waiters is impolite and unprofessional. She needs to retire as she's been there for too long or she needs to improve her customer facing skills as she would be the one reason why I wouldn't go back.”

“I seriously love my fish and chips and this was hands down the best fish and chips I’ve ever had in my life. Everything was completely made to order and boy was it worth the wait. The batter was so crispy but not greasy and the fish was so juicy and succulent in the middle. It was literally cooked to perfection. The chips were amazing too. Not to crispy and not to soggy. A perfect blend and you can tell they use really good potatoes. Really friendly service in lovely little area. Just a shame I don’t live closer as would be here every Friday! Highly recommend!!”

“Hawthorn is 100% your new go-to spot in Kew/Richmond. For some background, everyone who I was with for dinner had previously dined at the Glasshouse at some point in their lives, so when we all arrived for dinner at Hawthorn, we were intrigued about how it would compare… AND WOW our expectations were blown out of the water. Not only did we each quite literally lick the plates clean, but we all felt that each course was complex yet also felt so simple and just plain delicious. We heard that the restaurant just opened a couple of weeks ago, but the food tasted as if the chefs have been cooking together for years. Whether you are there for lunch or dinner, either set menu is incredibly well priced (especially when the food quality is at this level). The sommelier is incredible, suggesting perfect pairings for each course to accommodate every taste bud or finding a bottle that works with a table of diners who ordered a mixture of seafood and meat mains! Conveniently it’s also right next to Kew Gardens station or a short walk from Richmond station - very easy to get to and definitely worth a trip. What an amazing new restaurant in Kew!”

“Such a brilliant shop with a thoughtful quality selection and such helpful kind staff who know their stuff. I had my 18 month old son properly fitted for his first pair of boots for winter and the shoes have held up so well as my son splashes in puddles and his feet stay dry. The store is also great for gifts and has an incredible selection of Brio train bits which make for a great activity for the little ones while you shop.”

Staff have always been amazing and so good with the kids, space is lovely c always clean and lovely toys. Great coffee! And it’s the perfect size so you can get a few mins to have your coffee in peace as you can always see where they are . No pre-booking required – all visitors are welcome to come and go throughout the day until one hour before the Gardens close.”

“Great place to hire a venue. I have just organised a Teens party in the Alexandra Hall and everything worked perfectly well. The communication with all parties involved was excellent, and the venue has everything for a great party: large space, as many tables and chairs as you need, a mini kitchenette, enough sockets on the wall and a lift to carry everything to the Hall. We managed to fit in an Inflatable photo booth, a long table for 30, extra tables for activities and a dancing area with a DJ. Definitely a venue that to know about if you are local…or not, as it has easy access from the A4 and the A316.”

Every time Pickle comes back looking (and smelling) amazing - and you know the team really care about the dogs they are looking after! They especially understand different breed styles - which as a Cavapoo owner is the different between a teddy cut or coming out looking like a skinny poodle!! Book well in advance as they are very booked up!!!”

“I worked in London for about two years and was staying near Tangawizi. I ate there a couple times a week many many times over that two year time frame. I absolutely love it there. The food is phenomenal and always has the highest quality ingredients. The service is exceptional as well. Eight years later, we returned to the UK for my 60th birthday and I wanted to visit them again due to the fond memories I had. Our dinner this evening was just as phenomenal as ever. The flavors and freshness of the ingredients was incredible. The King tandoori shrimp are a favorite of mine and I literally got another order for dessert rather than a normal dessert. They thought I was joking when I ordered it for dessert! I travel frequently for business and have had the opportunity to eat at many phenomenal restaurants and they are at the top of the list with the best! I’m so happy they made it through the pandemic and now celebrating 20 years. I would highly recommend Tangawizi!”
