Millway is one of the few practices where you can still call in the morning and get an appointment with a doctor on the same day. That kind of accessibility is rare these days and truly appreciated. On a recent visit, I witnessed something that reaffirmed our confidence in Millway. A man who appeared very unwell came into the surgery, struggling to walk. The receptionist immediately pressed a bell, and within minutes, over six doctors were by his side. It was an incredible display of swift, compassionate teamwork. “I felt I must leave a review. This is an fantastic clinic from start to finish. Sarah on reception is excellent and creates a welcoming vibe. I have been seeing a Physio called Aishling Burke who I can`t rate highly enough. Pelvic floor related issues are very much a `grey` area and finding someone with such extensive knowledge has been a game changer for me personally. Aishling is incredibly passionate about her work and once under her guidance my issues began to improve. She works with you every step of the way on the road to recovery. Just Fantastic!!”

“I cannot thank the team enough for looking after my elderly and reactive rescue dog. We normally see Ianthi who is the head vet. She is an excellent vet who treats our rather difficult (and enormous) dog with patience and kindess. She has even managed to get him to walk voluntarily onto the weighing scales and even walk into a treatment room. Also, we purchase a copy of our prescriptions and buy the medication online - and it’s always allows us to use it twice which saves us paying for a new prescription every time Furthermore, when our elderly cat was diagnosed with cancer we requested an animal oncologist, and they issued our referral on the same day, they also reviewed him every Saturday until it was time to say goodbye.”

“I visited Dr Tam and her team in SW15 to have a wart removed. The whole appointment was handled very professionally, with plenty of time given to allow full explanations of the recommended courses of actions. The surgery was handled expertly by Dr Tam and her assistant Adidta. Would recommend the Team to anybody - thank you.”

“One of the best experiences I have had for a long time. This particular Dr was able to prescribe the antibiotic , whilst checking the type of infection to confirm the correct medication. If it had not been correct, I would have been told to stop and take a newly prescribed one. In the past no one has bothered to check what type of infection it is when prescribing antibiotics and I have been given the same ( which did not work) or 3 different ones( one after the other). Really not good. A pleasant and positive feeling with this Dr.”

“This is the best Goddard's I have come across, friendly and efficient. I moved from Kennington branch as they were quite rude and seemed uninterested. Here everyone is very friendly. Ashley on reception is great and works hard to find an appointment that fits with your own schedule. The dogs even get free treats ! I highly recommend this branch of Goddards.”

“Cerdic Grimbly is the best Veterinary Surgeon along with Holly Swaby and Emma Whitaker. All the Veterinary Nurses, Support Staff and the Practice Manager have always been absolutely fantastic with me and both of my Cats over the past few years. Even when I had to put one of my Cats to sleep they were very professional, understanding and compassionate. They also sent a lovely condolence card. I went to Midland Veterinary Surgery again today with my newest Cat for his 6 month health check, yearly vaccination, nail clipping, de-worming, flea treatment and he is doing really well and is very healthy. I will definitely keep on coming here for many more years to come. I really reccomend this Surgery for your pets. Thank you for a 5 star service!”

Unlike some other practices, they never make you feel embarrassed or lectured if your pet’s vaccinations are overdue or if life has simply got in the way. Their approach is refreshingly understanding, focusing on solutions rather than criticism. The staff are consistently polite, informative, and incredibly helpful. Their professionalism is matched by a sincere desire to provide the best care possible—not only for the animals, but for the people who love them. I only wish they had been in Brentwood decades ago.
