“Highly recommend Bistro 101 for brunch or dinner. I’ve eaten dinner here on several occasions, and always found that there is an interesting selection of dishes on the menu and that the food is always consistently good. Lunchtime was no different with a good choice of brunch options available. I chose egg and avocado on sourdough toast, which was delicious. We were served by Nikki, who looked after us and delivered the food quickly and efficiently.”

“Gorgeous space - cosy interior, filled with mismatched furniture and art, with great music and friendly staff. Had a nice coffee and slice of cake and will definitely be back to try the great-looking cocktails. A charming local spot, to be sure.”

“Stopped here during my last day of London and I decided to stop by as the Dishoom restaurants was highly recommended to try in London and London is known for phenomenal Indian food. This place did not disappoint! Okra fries were nice and crisp, charred lamb chops were great, and the chicken ruby had great flavour with a good spice kick. Service was excellent as the waitress took her time to explain the menu and the best way to order and to put combinations of meals together as their menu can get complicated. Definitely should book a reservation ahead of time, we went in at 4pm and it was not really busy.”

“So popped in for a pint as I saw on Facebook that they brew there own beer and was pleased to say it was great. The beer is lovely and my server knew his stuff and price wise thought £4.60 was fine. Nice beer great attitude. They also do takeaways in various sizes so that’s a bonus. Happy to recommend”

“We had a wonderful experience at Copper Chimney! Mohammed was extremely attentive and took the time to explain the menu clearly, helping us choose the perfect dishes. “This has to be one of my favourite restaurants. From when you enter the restaurant you are made to feel special and welcomed. Our food was delicious and drinks…. Wow. Our waiter was very attentive, helpful and polite. There is a great chilled vibe and you don’t feel rushed or as if you’re being hounded. Did I mention the food is amazing. You have to try the soft shell crab!!!! 10/10”

“Exceptional. From the moment you walk in the service speaks for itself. Personally taking our coats at the door, hot towels when you sit, perfectly curated details. Sushi was top quality, the sea bream nigiri and the yellowtail collar fish dish were perfect. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.”

“Food was AMAZING our favourite was the Nasi Lemak, I’m on a bit of a mission to find the best version and so far this one wins hands down. We also had the duck again amazing and a winner with children. One of our party had not had crispy cereal king prawn in a long time and said this version was delicious, again also a winner with the children in the party. We also LOVED the desserts on offer and had virtually one of everything. As always my favourite was the mango pudding but it is also worth trying the Sagu Melaka which was tapioca served in the shape of a flower on cane sugar syrup. The Bubur Hitam was also really nice and not overly sweet, it was unusual as I’ve never had black rice porridge before. Special mention for the service which was super polite and friendly, the manager engaged with the children making them laugh. Atmosphere was relaxed and we all had an amazing time. Worth booking in advance as it fills up fast (not surprisingly).”

The food, the ambience , the service, every single part of Benihana is just top notch for me. I can't wait to bring my husband and our daughter along for our next visit.”

“The restaurant had been on my list for years but I did not know they got a Michelin star in 2025. Food was amazing from start to finish. With some Tartare, Mussels toast and Pigeon skewer to begin with. And then some Dover Sole, Mallard, vegetables and potatoes. All that with a side of bread and butter. And a cheesecake finish. Service was great and they explained everything. Wine list was also great with lots of options (including Sherry and Dessert wine) I highly recommend the place”

“Party of 4 we went for the platter and a couple of extras. Firstly, I loved the atmosphere, buzzing with people who range from dates, friends, colleagues. The sushi came out as when it was ready, which at first I found strange but then was able to enjoy each dish, the taste and texture. The food was LOVELY, sushi bursting with flavour paired nicely with a glass of wine! The cocktails were probably one of the best I have ever tried! It was the first time I tried, Kimchi and I wasn’t disappointed, perfect texture and flavours complemented each other. Their dessert range was lovely, when the doughnuts came out I did think they are tiny but just one had generous amount of pistachio filling and they were HOT! Beautiful. They only loose a star in service as the lady who was looking after our table, I found was lurking around which felt like they wanted us to quickly leave. We were there quite late so they didn’t have anyone waiting for a table.”

“My girlfriend and I visited The Duck and Rice ahead of my birthday and it honestly couldn’t have been better. The food was absolutely delicious, we shared sweet and sour chicken, chicken chow mein, bao buns and venison pastries, and every single dish was so tasty. You could really tell the quality of the ingredients and the care that went into the cooking. A big shoutout has to go to our server, Hannah. She was so friendly, attentive without ever being overbearing, and genuinely made the whole evening feel special. It’s rare to come across service that feels that personal, and it honestly made all the difference. I have a peanut allergy, so I have to be careful eating out particularly with Chinese food, but Hannah handled it brilliantly. She was knowledgeable, reassuring, and made me feel completely at ease, which meant I could just relax and enjoy the meal. The place itself is lovely and inviting, and seems like a great place for a casual lunch or a more formal dinner. The combination of amazing food, a lovely atmosphere, and such thoughtful service made this the perfect place to celebrate. We left already talking about what we’ll order next time.”

“I hired the upstairs function room and roof terrace for my 50th birthday drinks. Can't recommend enough. Lovely space, friendly and helpful staff, great drinks selection. Ideal space for laid back Sunday afternoon drinks. Highly recommend!”

“The restaurant is always busy, so a reservation is essential. The overall atmosphere is quite dark, and the noise level can be high. Service was fast and efficient, and the food was delicious — I highly recommend the prawn toast and the prawns with cashew. The restaurant is on the expensive side; our bill for five people was around £230.”

“Updated review (from 5 years ago). Excellent food and drinks as expected. The dark light ambience with good background music makes this place what it is known for. Service was bit of a let down however. Felt very rushed between courses (went for Plum Blossom set menu). Didn't feel like we had enough time to relax and enjoy our experience. Overall we felt like just a number to get in and out the door - no personal touch you'd expect from this type of establishment. Stand out dishes include the dim sum, golden fried crab and roast chicken in satay sauce. Cocktails were excellent - Heritage Manhattan was amazing (not cheap). Nice touch with additional dessert as we mentioned it was for a special occasion.”

“Watched football here so place was cleared out to accommodate so looked basic but it was football and what else do you need, really busy and difficult to get served quickly as it has a small bar saying that the staff do a great job.”

“I had a fantastic experience at Mimi Mei Fair! The food was outstanding, the Xiao Long Jewels were definitely the highlight of the meal, absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The Mala Spicy Tofu was also amazing, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of heat. On top of that, the service was excellent. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and a special mention to Sam who served us he was incredibly nice and made us feel really welcome. Highly recommend this place!”

“Great starters (I got the Salt and Pepper Squid) and Mango Shake! This restaurant transported me back to the Philippines. It was such a fun vibe, with a bonus of Karaoke and great food!! Must Be careful though because you may enter a karaoke singing competition and Win a 5kg Bag of rice as a prize!! I will be coming back here again with my friends to show them how karaoke is suppose to be done xx”

“Came to the pub on Sunday to have some “pub tapas” picky bits and drinks. We have a lovely Camembert- gooey and garlicky! Fantastic. A nice touch was also the chef Harry came out to check everything was ok with our food and was super friendly”
