The stew arrived bubbling hot, with a strong, appetizing aroma of fermented kimchi. Just one spoonful of the tangy, spicy broth was enough to awaken the appetite. The tofu was soft, silky, and generously portioned — a hearty and comforting dish that really satisfies. Side Dishes The complimentary kimchi was crisp and flavorful — exactly as it should be. The bean sprouts, though a bit mild in taste, would’ve been perfect with a touch of sesame oil for added depth. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

The food was exceptional fresh, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavour. I ordered the momtaz, which came with both koobideh and chicken joojeh served with naan absolutely delicious. My daughter chose the joojijeh with rice, and she loved every bite. We rounded off our meal with some beautifully fragrant Iranian tea, which was the perfect end to a fantastic dining experience. If you’re looking for authentic Persian food with excellent service, Sofreh is a gem worth visiting. We’ll definitely be coming back!”

“Went with my flatmates 2 weeks ago and had a delicious lunch. From pajeon to japchae to samgyupsal: all was great. I read a lot of reviews of Korean restaurants in New Malden and Azit had the best reviews for service: I can attest they're real. I had a small accident when one of the guys dropped the crab in the spicy sauce and it splashed into my right eye. The waitress was amazing then as well (she was very attentive all the time) and she even brought me an ice pack after I managed to get out of the restroom. She really made this experience a lot more pleasant considering Korean food should not be tasted with the eyes.”
