“The fox and hound is a traditional Irish style pub. Friendly and helpful staff. Beers such as Stella, Guinness ect. No craft beers but good draft. this keeps the pub affordable. Karaoke on a Friday nights and live music on a Saturday. The Wolfe tones often play here.”

“I had been coming to the Dog and Bull for years before the Refurb and always found it charming. I returned in May to a bright and vibrant garden, dubbed 'the wilderness' the new booths were a welcome upgrade and made the space feel substantial! Besides the cosmetic changes, I have grown to love this pub in my home town of Croydon even more than I did before! We've been so lucky to have an amazing summer and it's been great to see this pub so close to my heart packed out with new and returning people each week! I have been raving about The Dog since May and have invited all my uni mates who talk down on Croydon to have a drink with me There, they've all eaten their words and finally seen the charm that Croydon has that is encapsulated in what I think is the best pub in central Croydon! The staff are friendly and make everyone feel like they're in their local and they have live DJ sets, with music I wish more places would play (deep cuts of Garage, R&B, Jungle…list goes on). I wanted to write this review as we always complain when we don't like an establishment but never give praise to environments where we feel comfortable and want to return to so thank you to all the staff at The Dog and I'm sure you'll be seeing me again in the near future.”

“I had the Sunday roast today and was genuinely impressed by the flavor. It was well-seasoned and, dare I say, even better than what I’ve had at Hawksmoor! I know that sounds bold, but it’s true. The service was fantastic as well; the staff were friendly and personable. The atmosphere was relaxing, making it a perfect spot to unwind. “We held our Christmas party at Project B last night. It was such a fun time in a fabulous venue! The staff were friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us including setting up table tennis! The DJ mixed in our favourite requests and kept us dancing through the night. I would highly recommend Project B.”

Amy and the team were absolutely brilliant in making the whole thing work. We pre-ordered food, which was waiting for us when we arrived. Staff stayed late especially - which was amazing. “The staff were very lovely, they worked with a smile on their face which was refreshing. The room was clean, bedding towels, bathroom etc. The heater was easy to work and warmed up the room relatively quickly. The only thing missing was a hairdryer which was disappointing.”

“Naga tikka biryani is the BEST. No other restuarant has compared to theirs always consistent with flavour and quality. Tandoori chicken is always juicy and flavourful. Naan is always perfect. “I visited the restaurant Frankie & Benny's has in Croydon for the first time yesterday, and I must say it has been a very pleasant experience in all aspects. From the very first moment I put my feet in the restaurant, staff has provided an excellent customer service, especially Moni, who was the one who assisted us during dinner. Her politeness and permanent smile on her face was an excellent start for our first time at the restaurant. Frankie and Benny's menu is also great. You have a great variety of starters, mains and desserts that makes it difficult to choose only one. Portions are quite generous and the price I paid for dinner is perfectly balanced with the quality of food I had. In conclusion, a first experience that will be the first of many more I will do in future. It is totally worth.”

“Good spoons. Normal in terms of interior. Smoking in the back is a bit odd as some tables are no smoking. The food is normal spoons food but it was cooked hot and tasted nice. Desserts were good too.”
