“great place to dine with friends. lovely atmosphere. the staff are friendly and knowledgeable with their recommendations. you can literally go there and ask the staff what they would recommend and not even have to look at the menu. Nadim was very helpful and made sure we were taken care of, and even helped us with the birthday surprise. we also had to suddenly leave quickly toward the end of the dinner and they were efficient in helping us settle quickly. to each their own on whether it is expensive or not; we spent roughly £1400 for 4 people”

“Hilarious. The staff are wearing what looks like security cameras. I was sat near a couple that were having a loud and drunken argument. An old man was just staring at me from his pint of I assume some guest ale, then averted his gaze when I stared back. Staff member who took my order was the newest, poor thing looked suitably overwhelmed. 10/10 would visit again..”

“From the check in with a lovely lady called Jamila putting herself out to help especially as i have some disabilities , to all of the Amazing staff , the great room and all food provided including eating in the Bugis Kitchen, we experienced a most wonderful stay at The Copthorne Tara Hotel. Their was an added bonus of it being only just over a 20 min walk to The Royal Albert Hall, i really wished that i had found this hotel years ago. I would highly recommend and cannot wait to return. I also thought that all round they were very reasonable with their prices considering their location......”

“Excellent location, in the city very close to two train stations, with plenty of services around (shops, restaurants, cafes,…). It was also possible to reach many attractions on foot. The room was big for London standards. Bed was comfortable. I got a good deal on the room. On the minus side, It was a back room, so the view was not great, but on the other side it was quiet. Also, They should do housecleaning every day rather than every other day. In any case, if you find a good deal, you can stay there.”

“A standard Premier Inn as you'd expect and looking like it has had a recent makeover. Our room was modern, clean with ample storage for our one night stay. Reception staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, even though the booking in process was a little slow, they were great. Water pressure is low, so washing shampoo out of a lot of hair, not a problem for me, but it was for my wife, takes a little while. Easy to drive to, just a few minutes off of the A13 and with several bus routes running past the hotel. I don't think we've stayed in a better Premier Inn.”

I ordered the halloumi souvlaki wrap, and it was packed with flavor—perfectly grilled halloumi with a slight crisp on the outside, fresh salad, and a deliciously creamy sauce, all wrapped in warm pita. The skin-on fries were crispy and well-seasoned, making them the perfect side. The staff was friendly, and service was quick despite a steady stream of customers. “Don't let the negative reviews put you off booking. We really enjoyed our stay in one of the 'Premier Plus' rooms, it was lovely and clean, the bed was comfy and all the staff were really nice and helpful. We ordered breakfast, which is served in the pub (The Winning Post), which is on the side of the building. It was amazing; there was plenty of choice (even as a vegetarian), and the cooked breakfast was made to order. Again, all the Staff were sociable and friendly. We will definitely be back.”
