“Oh my word. My husband and I came here with high expectations for our anniversary. Firstly, a sincere shoutout to the friendly and highly attentive waitstaff. We reserved in advance (which I recommend doing as it gets busy!) and they had actually read my booking notes. In the notes I mentioned I was pregnant and so they double checked I was happy with the preparation and ingredients of certain dishes. The menu leans towards the spicy and salty side, but at the same time is very fragrant and aromatic. Quite addictive really! I’ve seen viral videos of that Tom Yam deluxe noodle dish so obviously we had to get it. It was delicious, but to my surprise, my favourite dish was their Naem fried rice. It’s been about a week since our visit and I’m still licking my lips thinking about it. To top everything off, we got a surprise scoop of taro ice cream. How adorable is that? Lots of love to Speedboat. We’ll be back, and definitely before our next anniversary!”

“Very nice friendly pub. Amazing pizza which was a suprise first time! I now order pizza via phone and collect instead of ordering a takeaway from elsewhere because of the quality and the price. There is a gluten free option of pizza as well. Photo shows gluten free in foreground and normal in the background. Burgers was also good. There's also a bottomless brunch and a good pub quiz on Tuesdays. Overall great place.”

“It was our first time visiting this cafe and it had such a great atmosphere--quirky decor, loads of seating options, and the outdoor area was perfect for enjoying the beginning of spring. Dori loved getting to sniff around the outdoor garden before getting comfortable and settling down for a nap. We didn't get to take photos of the food (as we were hungry lol), but the food and coffees were lovely and filling. They didn't have cheese for my butty, but they offered to replace it with something of my choice. Dori very much appreciated the extra hash browns! Kam and his team were such a pleasure--very welcoming and kind. Whether you're catching up with friends, getting some work done, or taking you pup on a day out, we think Blighty would be a great space for all of the above. Would highly recommend and we're sure that we'll be back.”

“I had the Sunday roast cooked pink, and it was delicious and filling. It would’ve been even better if the server provided a bit more explanation about the dishes. The Sunday roast with a cola came to about £39, which was enough for a full meal. The restaurant is spacious, and you can usually get a seat easily if you book ahead or arrive early when it opens (tables are limited to a 2-hour stay). While it’s not cheap, it’s a great place to experience classic British dining culture at least once.”

“​We were fortunate to secure a reservation for two at The Ned's Electric Bar & Diner for the highly popular Interstellar, Michelin, BBQ pop-up. During the booking process, we were thoughtfully asked if we were celebrating anything. Coming from Texas, we were craving a taste of home. We went for the brisket, the official Texas BBQ meat, and the fare absolutely fulfilled that desire. Just to mention, it was £40 extra for the brisket. The food was sensational, with deeply smoky and tender meats and savory sides that brought us right back to our favorite barbecue joints. ​However, despite mentioning our anniversary during the reservation, none of the four servers acknowledged the occasion. It was a bit disappointing when they simply brought the check without any mention of our celebration. It was a bit of a letdown after such a fantastic meal.”
