“visited the Archers with my partner for dinner and evening drinks. first time visiting and we were blown away by the service and experience we received. Our Server Tom, the Manager is a wonderful guy, very knowledgeable and friendly, my partner is lactose intolerant and they have a clever system in place to help with our dietary requirements. The food was gorgeous and the atmosphere was amazing. we were welcomed and greeted with a smile and received excellent customer service. Big Thank you and I will be highly recommending this wonderful venue to everyone.”

“Here for a celebratory meal, and was an excellent venue for it. Decor was simple, understated but beautiful warm lighting and eloquent. Wine list was excellent, slightly on the pricier side. Food was absolutely the main event. Sharing small plates (modern European) is the vibe of the restaruant- we had 4 dishes between the two of us. The star of the shows were the Sumac green peas in a fresh goat's curd, mopped up beautifully with foccacia, and the beautifully tender lamb leg with a gorgeous nectarine sauce. Grilled watermelon with tajin spice was very interesting. We will be back to try more from this excellent bistro.”

“My favourite café in Welwyn! I’ve eaten here many times, the staff are always friendly and welcoming and the food is always good quality with generous portions. I’ve brought family and friends here who are also returning customers. Plenty of parking locally, if you are looking for a lovely breakfast / lunch spot look no further than Trio!”

“Spotted Pixxa when I was in Farringdon so checked it out. They specialize in Roman style pizza which are rectangular slices of pizza found in Rome. There were so many choices hence I decided to revisit another day for it. Went back on a Monday lunch when it was nice and quiet and got the 3 slice deal for £10.95. After choosing my slices, I thought they just give it to you but it goes in the oven once more so they are piping hot. I got settled and started to take photos as usual when I heard these crunching noises from the guy opposite. It was then I realized how thin and crispy the pizza base was which was my liking because I am extreme when it comes to the pizza base; it has to be thin and crispy or thick and bready, there is not in between! The three flavours I got were the artichoke and nduja, potato and rosemary, sausage and scamorza. I started with the potato and rosemary first because it had the lightest taste, the first bite was impressive because of the pizza base which was thin and airy like pan de cristal/glass bread. Then there was the fluffy yet crispy potato which was crushed/crumbled to cover the pizza evenly. The other two pizzas were both equally good but the artichoke and nduja was probably my favourite because of the pairing and the spicy kick from the nduja. The sausage and Scamorza with onions was another lovely combo but somehow, I am loyal to the English pork sausage so nothing quite beats it. Overall, I was impressed as the pizzas were not too oily or heavy to give you that bloated feeling. They are also doing a pizza challenge where you eat 6 slices but I didn't realize the slices were that big so it doesn't quite seem possible! Will definitely return when I am feeling peckish because you can just get them by the slice. The guy there was really friendly and there is an upstairs as well which I didn't know on the first visit. The ambiance upstairs was so relaxing that you could stay there all day.”

“I am a regular at Cafe Wood (or ex-Gok's Kitchen), visiting with my wife or friends at least twice a month, and I must say, their new menu is a delightful surprise! The dishes are not only delicious but also very reasonably priced. While they currently close at 5 pm and do not offer dinner service, I'm eagerly looking forward to the day when they extend their hours to include dinner. Despite this, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try, especially if you're on High Street in Weybridge. You won't be disappointed!”

“The Curator at Heathrow T3 is a good choice for a breakfast. Very efficient seating management and friendly staff. Too busy and the team handles it well. The food is tasty, well seasoned, has good temperature and texture. The prices are fair. The Eggs Benedict with salmon are highly recommended. My score is a 4.6.”

“Excellent food! We recently found out about Bang Bang and we’re able to try T.H.E Formosa and we’re delighted at how good it was. We had the popcorn chicken, bao, and pak choi. The chicken was perfect - it was crispy and succulent and so tasty. The bao was just as delicious as was the steamed pak choi. The pak choi in particular was fantastic. It had a lovely smoky flavour and came with a lovely dressing. There’s lots to choose from at Bang Bang but T.H.E Formosa is definitely my favourite!”

“My partner and I came in for a couple of cocktails and was served by Haroon at the bar. Maroon had only been there a month but you can tell he really enjoys his work and it showed!. The hospitality he demonstrated was top tier. Drinks were really well made and the overall ambiance was fantastic. “I never enjoyed soft shell crab like how we did at Yum Sa. Every item we ordered tasted great and nothing disappointed. The best items we had were the satay chicken, grilled prawns, and the soft shell crab. Massaman curry was good too. Jungle curry was alright. The cocktails were also good with their unique twist on the traditional cocktails. Do note the pictures of the food are outdated as it looks like they may have changed their menu. For instance we wanted to try their pad Thai wrapped in omelette but didn't see that particular dish in the menu. There is a pad Thai but there was no mention of omelette in it. So we didn't order it. Also we went in assuming the portion size are also small based on the images but when the food looked much bigger when we saw the food in front of our eyes. So order accordingly.”
