“Visited the Runnymede hospital mainly for physio. My allocated physiotherapist was Joseph who has been amazing. He really listened to me throughout my visits and adjusted my exercises to match my many varied needs. He’s clearly very knowledgeable, in addition to exercises he also told my about shockwave therapy which is a noninvasive therapy (much better than blanket steroid injections typically offered by other therapists for pain management) and promotes actual healing. If I ever needed physiotherapy again I wouldn’t hesitate to book an appointment with Joseph. Thank you so much for everything!”

“I am going to give 5 stars for the vet professionalism, kindness and patience. We were seen by vet Monika, it’s first time in a while since we have visited the clinic. The vet was absolutely incredible, did not rush us, listened to the full history and took the best course of action to treat our dog which was cost efficient. I highly recommend being seen by her in future. Regarding management, as I’ve happened to be in the clinic and overheard something which should have been rather private addressed to the vet, I would advise more courtesy and consideration. Regarding receptionist, overall good service but had to remind of the email I sent asking for support and guidance as unfortunately we’re going through a difficult time. The clinic has had work done and it looks beautiful.”

I have just received the most detailed report of my MRI scan from a brilliant radiologist who I think went above and beyond call of duty. After many months, finally have the answers I need. “I believe that every experience is personal. We live in London and our son is a second-year student at Surrey University. Today, we found out that he went to A&E because he wasn't feeling well. The outcome is a severe infection, suspected meningitis. We, worried parents, drove to Guildford as soon as we found out that he was in hospital. At the moment, he is in hospital, and from his arrival at A&E to admission, the staff were terrific—very professional and caring. We could not thank them enough. When we arrived to see our child, the staff was invaluable and informative. From our previous experiences in London hospital wards over the years, it felt like VIP treatment. “I’ve been coming to Mori Sushi now for the best part of 2 years. Each time the food is so consistently delicious and of excellent quality. For example the Gyu Teriyaki Don is our go to, it’s fresh, tasty and highly nutritious we explored the menu and everything is just top notch. I also order the sides such as Takoyaki, this is probably the most amazing side I have ever had. It’s so clean, fresh, tasty and sits on our stomachs with satisfaction every time. The service and experience is another thing, we are always well treated, looked after and made to feel part of the mori sushi regulars. It’s our go to and we love it.”

“We honestly can’t thank the team at Aurua enough for everything they did for our dog, Leo. From the very first consultation to the all-clear after his surgery, their care, communication, and kindness were faultless. Leo’s Journey: Leo is our 4-year-old Chug, and earlier this year, we discovered a lump on his prepuce. It turned out to be a cutaneous mast cell tumour. Understandably, we were worried, but once we were referred to Aurua, we felt confident we were in the right hands. Surgery & Timeline: The whole process moved quickly and smoothly. We had an oncology consultation on 12th March, and Leo had surgery to remove the tumour on 21st March. Everything went well, and he came home the same day. We went back for a follow-up and stitch removal on 11th April, and the recovery since has been brilliant no sign of the tumour returning, and Leo is totally back to himself. • 1st Feb: Initial diagnosis • 26th Feb: Fine Needle Aspiration • 12th March: Oncology consultation • 21st March: Surgery • 11th April: Follow-up & stitch removal • Now: Full recovery and no further issues Communication & Care: Every single person we dealt with at Aurua was lovely kind to Leo, and kind to us. He gets a bit nervous in clinical settings, but they were gentle, calm, and reassuring the whole way through. They kept us updated at every stage and always explained things clearly, without being overly clinical. We felt genuinely cared for. Cost & Insurance: We were quoted £5,000 to £6,000. The total bill for Leo’s treatment was £5,985.21. Our insurance (Animal Friends) covered £2,000 of that for the tumour, with a £99 excess. Aurua were brilliant in helping us handle the claims process, it was all clearly explained, and there were no surprises. Outcome:We’re so relieved to say that Leo is now cancer-free. He’s back to bouncing around the house and being his cheeky self. We couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. Final Thoughts:If you’re looking for a vet who’ll treat your pet like their own, keep you informed, and go the extra mile, Aurua is absolutely the place. They were amazing with Leo, and we’ll always be grateful for the care they gave him — and us.”

“Dr.Douglas Hall is the vet who is professional,caring,and helpful. Our cat and dog is registered and we had our high and lows in terms of their health. The cape vet team always made us feel good and I highly trust them. Thanks a lot for your hard work and dedication.”

“We had a very memorable dinner at Carlo’s Trattoria ! Despite booking a table for 22 of us at very short notice , Bonnie and Jay went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing dinner for my family gathering. The service was attentive and impeccable throughout the whole evening and the food truly delicious with very generous portions. We all had the fixed menu with a selection of starters ( the fried calamari are the best I have eaten in a very long time - even my Sicilian auntie thought they were tastier than the ones in Sicily ) followed by the prawns risotto and fresh ravioli with porcini mushroom and sage which were both heavenly! We ended the dinner with an amazing selection of desserts, all beautifully presented. I live in London but I will definitely drive back to Guildford just to eat at Carlo’s again!. “We came in on 1st November for our really early Christmas Do. As always Sam and the team were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was great and the pub was full. “Exceptional Hospitality and a Truly Comfortable Stay We visited the hotel for 3 nights for a company conference which was being held there. It was just over an hour from London centre on the train, or uber so we took the advantage of going into London centre while we were over there. All of the staff at the hotel went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. From the warm welcome we received at reception very late on, after a long and difficult journey, to the attentive and efficient food and beverage team, every interaction was a pleasure. We were honestly pleasantly surprised, this was one of the nicest experiences we’ve had at a in this country, and we’ve stayed in many hotels here. The level of service and genuine hospitality really stood out. The hotel has been recently been refurbished and although it hasn’t lost its traditional feel, it feels lovely, clean and modern. Our family room was very spacious! It was probably one of the hottest weekends of the year, so we were relieved to find a decent fan in the wardrobe which kept the room cool. The beds were really comfy and it was nice that the extra bed wasn’t a sofa bed, as our daughter is nearly 18. The room for our conference was lovely with a stunning balcony which elevated the room and the food was excellent! Highly recommended!”

“I visited the Guildford Parkway Beefeater restaurant on Wednesday 19th November. I was not particularly hungry so a meal from the children's menu sufficed. This was steak chips, peas and mini corn on the cob. The food was delicious and very promptly served. K-C was my waitress and was extremely professional and polite. That said, this applied to all the staff and the atmosphere was very relaxing. In particular I consider that the meal was excellent value for money at £6-99. As an example, I recently paid £9+ for a McDonald's meal. Food was good, and service prompt,  BUT, as with all such restaurants, I had to eat with my fingers from a paper bag. At the Beefeater, I have a proper plate and cutlery, and service was just as quick as at McDonald's. Also, yesterday, before dining at the Beefeater, I visited my local Costa. Staff are very pleasant, however I paid £12+ for coffee, cheese cake and a toasted sandwich. In other words, almost twice the cost of a "real" Beefeater meal! Plus, again I had to eat with my fingers! So, overall, many thanks and I look forward to my next meal at Guildford Parkway.  Allan Woolston.”
